i know it sounded like whining, just frustration, not with you or your addon. i do see amazing potential and it works for almost every one. i do appreciate the work that went into it. cheers, who know i may be able figure it out. kudos bruv

Do you know the differences between a SHAMAN and a Medical DOCTOR (MD) ?

thus, you must provide me with some more brief details:

1. what error did you get ? which cahnnels ?
2. what type of acc. are you using now ?
3. what the last step did you follow according to the reading from the given link above ?


OR...

perhaps you should open your dusty yellow-book to find a phone # of a shaman (no offense)

Kens so i just finally got around to doing the simple client and potato tv. I followed the instructions to a T and its not working. Right after i enable simple client and then go to potato tv and press the simple client button i see a 1 second spinning icon. Then i went back to clear data and enable tv it says ' no pvr functionallity is enabled.
tried a few times.

Got it fixed. Replaced the userdata and addons folder with a backup. I can access channels from the guide fine. But I cannot access channels by going through the addon itself. Is their a fix for this?

maybe these following tricks work:

1. run the pvr auto-setings thru' my addon
2. quit kodi
3. open Kodi/userdata/Database/
4. delete all of TV*.db & Epg*.db files
5. restart kodi

try this:

1. delete all files in Kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.potatoTV

Sorry to say that didn't work. I did what you said, then when I go to clear the caches from within the addon it get an invalid path error message. And my channels do not load. So the guide is blank.

hmm... it's a weird error that I had never had

btw, which version of kodi are you using?
and what skin?

sorry if I have to ask this:
when I told you to delete the files... did you remove the files only?
or...
did you also remove the directory too?

I would also suggest you to try the Kamikaze way :D

1. uninstall my addon
2. completely remove both directories: "Kodi/addons/plugin.video.potatoTV" and "Kodi/userdata/addon_data/plugin.video.potatoTV"
3. reinstall my addon
4. disable the live-tv
5. clear tv & epg 's data
6. quit kodi
7. goto: "Kodi/userdata/Database/" and delete all of TV*.db & Epg*.db files
8. restart kodi
9. enable the live-tv

and...

if you knew how to enable the kodi's log,
it would be so helpful if you could also send me the log file, PRIVATELY

Thank you, couch potato! What a great add-on. Works well on Kodi 17.1. Can't wait for that colour EPG!!

Anyway we can get a non lite version to use recordings? Is it a paid add-on you will release?

Keep up the amazing work!!

1 Stalker Instance "Only"

does it matter what private server i have? i'm currently on p2. i tried doing a custom but that didn't work either.

i'm running kodi 17 on a cheap mxq pro box.

You can only have one Stalker Instance Enabled (IPTV Simple Client/ Stalker/ Emu/ TVOnline etc.).
When you start Kodi, all Stalker middleware will attempt to login to the server. In this case you will need to disable all but 1, and clear data, IPTV Reset then Re-Enable to function and connect properly.

Hmmm i guess i should have asked this question before i lost my mind. Does PVR IPTV simple client support papiao.is donation based credentials? I'm still having an issue. I followed CP instructions than Kens, but i still can't get my head around it. Every once in awhile the guide would load(no tv icon though, like stalker client) went into CP and got invalid login 'mac'
still trying though

guide and channels loaded, but i'm still getting the "error: authentication failed 'mac'

does the 'mac' error mean i'm still waiting for a reset?

Can you get the built in Stalker client to work? Guide and channels load? Couch Potato is a Stalker addon so Stalker must be working first, then disabled to give the info to Couch Potato is what it seems to me
