Have internet and ethernet

Good afternoon all. I am like the bad penny. And yes, I am still having problems. Yesterday in post 39 Kool suggested I start fresh. It went easy as pie, no problems. After finishing the procedure I still have nothing working. Video still says "file missing" and nothing on tv channels. According to the inner portal I do have internet and ethernet and it shows on the main menu that the firmware is r10. Help Help
 
Why Me ????//// I went to inner portal, clicked on youtube. nothing. Clicked again screen went blank. Remote would not work Unplugged power screen ca,e up try again tellling me no internet two portals, one I put in 1.iptvprivateserver.tv and the one I didn't put in http://1.privateserver.tv I tried several time with both portals and nothing. Screen went black again. What now
 
you may also try using the previous rev software found here..you will need image update file and bootstrap file..you want r9

Nothing seems to be going my way with this box. I have tried everything you told me to and it keeps kicking back the message "STB DAMAGED" I called informir and he was livid that I wanted my money back said he has had a lot of people with the same problem but the box is not damaged and therfore no refund. Said it was the provider (rocket) who puts that message there and it should read "not registered" instead of damaged. Said they could not speak English. He actually hung up on me. A very rude person. Please help me if its possible. I bought it for my daughter for a birthday gift because I enjoyed mine so much. (I had no problem setting mine up) Good luck hunting eh?
 
Well first off I would say just keep trying to reset it again,update etc

If you get someone's playlist from the site and try loading it, does it work with the ip channels?
If you are so concerned about your daughters birthday gift, give her your's, that's what i would have done in the mean time.

And last but not least, I would be calling back and bitching, back up your product and exchange it, there might be legit reason people are complaining the stb damaged msg, their might be a batch with a faulty capacitor, resistor, really anything.

I have a different ip address than she does. I was told that would matter.
 
I did that yesterday and that is when it kicked back and said damaged. Tried putting in the r9 after doing setup and it did t
he same thing. I have been trying to follow your directions and I think I have. Did you read post 52 and 55? Thanks
I mentioned my own 254 to be running on r3 not my daughters'
 
The reason it takes me so long to do these things is I have to go to her house. She does not have a computer, just a modem that she uses for her nano premium stb. So I go there, do the deed, come back to my house and post my results. It would have been simpler to do it at my house but I couldn' get internet on it at my house. I can at hers.
