I passed both issues on to dvbken.

Can you please put kodi in debug mode in settings>system>debugging.. then close kodi, reopen it and close it after its done loading and fails to load the channels.. then PM me a pastebin with your kodi.log..

Here is the Android Fix for those having trouble.
You should uninstall your current kodi installation.. and may have to delete remnant folder from /Android/Files/.kodi

The problem with the android version was not a bug in the plugin, rather Kodi was keeping remnant copies of the pre-bundled 0.7 version that comes with beta 1... so even after deleting and reinstalling, it was trying to use an old version of the libpvr.stalker.so file..

After attempting many ways to fix this, all were unsuccessful.. except using the package below

I may be wrong, but I assume once the pull request to move the latest version into the kodi.pvr git that you can just download the latest nightly of kodi to get this version. That pull request is still pending as of this time though.

I tested this, and it works, so go for it! My Kodi is very 'busy' so it will probably hold up to most other users. I was forced to uninstall the released beta, due to mismatch signatures, so its probably a requirement to use the link that psycon just posted. Make sure you back up before uninstalling.

deleting your EPG and TV .db files from your userdata/database folder in kodis appdata folder ususally solves any issues as well.

psycon, what program do I use to edit these .db files? Will note pad work? Also, not hijacking, but I see you are online so thought I would ask right away: downloaded the new pvr stalker but I am not seeing 2 stalker clients in my addons, so I checked the version which is 0.8.0. Is this the one? I am wondering if it automatically updated the older version.

Psycon, if I uninstall the hole kodi, How to keep my actual confuguration ?

Or maybe wait for a kodi test that include the new 0.8 stalker client

you dont edit your db files.. i said delete them.. i use ES file explorer for that on android.

you shouldnt ever see 2 versions of stalker plugin.. if you upgrade using the plugin zip from github it should overwrite previous versions.... on android there is a problem it seems though, it will install fine, but will not connect to any servers... in that caseyou will likely have to use kodi APK i just uploaded that has the newest stalker built i

I am getting error setting up IPguys with stalker client. I have entered last 6 digits of mac address and server address but get error cannot load channels. Can someone please help me in resolving the error?
