Are you testing the stalker on your pc only?
On my pc the new channels sort of working yes but on my Android device the new channels are not working with the new version (specifically the Greek channels, which they are working flawless on the EMU).
NO, I am testing Fire TV, CS918 ,OSX and PC. OSX and Fire TV are my daily drivers.

New channels and locals work fine on my PC using Kodi but on my MAG254, they do not work. I am not sure why this is. Also, the channels after the news jump to 100 and up on the MAG254 where they stay in the 2 digits range using Kodi on the PC. Again, no idea why this is.
You dont have "use backend channel numbers" turneed on in Kodi >Settings >PVR (Advanced)
What box / version you running? I can't figure out why it's asking for a dll under crystalbuntu / helix 14.1.
But works under my mk3 issengard. I might try updating my atv to issengard, but it would be cool to know what your using.

Its likely the linux version does not work on AppleTV. maybe time to bite the bullet and get a current device.
Also when I installed the modified version from post 1 everything worked for me even the new Greek channels and the rest of the new channels so basically I will stick to this one on my Android device for now, it seems that the have fixed the incompatibility with the new channels, but for me the older version works better than the new on my Android device.

Lol the device is fine, that has nothing to do with anything, it's still one of the best boxes around.
Running issengard 15 nightly build now, receiving unknown error now. Failing on another steamos / Alienware system as well now.
Seems arm works fine in Linux but the x86 architecture doesn't work at all yet.
Hopefully someone can create x86 support off the source!

I was referring to the fact that Apple TV 2 is no longer officially supported by the Kodi Team.. and, Cant it only do 720p.. and has a really old processor... your and my definition of best are clearly different...

we are talking about atv1 on Ubuntu, it does 1080p fine. why else would you need something faster if all you do is use it for kodi. there are not many other boxes for the price that have the ability to add a multi terabyte internal drive, especially at 40-50 bucks. the only thing better would be a rooted quad core. but you are right the atv2 720p limit sucks. best for its price range, never said it was the best. the best is obviously an intel nuc / apple mac mini i5/i7.
anyway there is nothing wrong with box, its very much supported, there is no reason to upgrade. back on topic.

the greek channel not working for me is 622, but that not working on the emulator either
it will work perfectly fine on windows / osx, the problem that many users are waiting for is x86 Linux support.
Now all the Greek are working on both stalker and emu and all the channels as well.
It did not work on my Android with the new stalker.
