Stalker Client PVR Add-on Release Thread

I have a question about the Android add-on for Kodi. I have a Nexus 6, which uses a Krait 450 ARM processor. I did try the add-on for ARM and it gives me an unknown error and tells me it is unable to load. Is this particular line of ARM processors not supported?

It may not be that the processor is not supported, but possibly the OS (Lollipop) may not be nice with it, or you have file/directory permission issues. Try downloading the add-on again, to rule out corruption on the dl, and reinstall. If that still doesn't work, try using the modified apk for Kodi, as described in post #1, however you will need to uninstall your current Kodi first.

Also did you try the modified version of kodi from post one.

Should see EPG very shortly :)

Running issengard on my openelec mk3, working great.

However asking for a dll file on crystalbuntu appletv generation 1, with helix. (figure that out heh)

Thanks!

The repository is for pre-release, so if you pull something from it, you may break something. I advise to continue to use the .5 release until the author actually releases it.

Thanks dvbken/kenji123 for releasing it publicly to the Kodi community.

I just tried them, it does not address the none working new channels, probably it's still in the beta stage, waiting for the official release.
Tested on an Android system and a PC.

It does bring in the missing channels, and has nice icons next to the channel names.

The channels always get updated and were there but they new added channels never worked on the stalker, same with the new version, my guess is that he is still working on them, looking forward for the updated official version.

The main problem with stalker was the none working new added channels, I hope the new version will take care of this.
Many thanks to the author for putting out this great effort and looking forward to test the new version and give my feedback on it.

Well, at least the channel count matches my STBemu. Biggest issue still is a missing EPG, as well as how users will be able to enter their access codes, same as the emu. I suspect that non-working channels are an issue with the lack of certain codecs in Kodi, not the add-on.

It could be, but makes you wonder why all the new added channels with no exception never worked on the stalker which makes me to thing it's an issue with the add-on itself, anyway who cares if it's channels issue or the add-on itself on my end I will be vey please to see the new version fully compatible with the new channels when I test the new version after it get officially released by the author.
Oh on the STB-emu they work flawless.

Well since the new version was released

Ill say what I have noticed with the build
Linux and osx are now supported
Isengard is supported
EPG Works (if server supports it)
Channel Icons load.
Missing/Broken channels fixed..
channel groups work
Paid servers still do not work with the plugin alone.

You don't have to set the timezone. If you want to though, you can use the value from the TZ column from here:
Code:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tz_database_time_zones

I found that simultaneous Multiple servers is also possible through a simple mod (make a copy of the pvr.stalker.plugin folder and append a number or something to it) also edit the addon.xml lines as below .
Code:
id="pvr.stalker.client 2"
  name="Stalker Client 2"
Then go set up and enable the 2nds server.. (this will break backend channel numbering and the channels from each server will zipper together unfortunately)

Looks like the helix builds are not on github.
