How to integrate an EPG into PVR IPTV Simple Client using IPTV Stalker

Guys, psycon was out for the weekend. The epg had not been updated on his epg grabbed git page. He said he will get it up and running with updated .xml. Patience is a virtue...lol.

Newbee for EPG using Stalker. have an Android MX III box, using XBMC. Did the setup as per first thread from Dara. EPG is loaded, channels list there, however no video or audio on any channels in Live TV. Tried other channels cannot see video or audio.
When using stalker in Video Mode channels are working.
Confused about Mac address, what do I use, Box MAC address, dara first six digits, or none

For those who are using IPTV Stalker as the server for the simple client, make sure that you can get channels from that first. If you can't, and have checked your settings (Correct server url, and MAC, using 00:1A:79:xx:xx:xx, where x is a hex-digit (0-9, A-F), and the server is on), clear the cache by going into the context menu where you see NFPS (menu button, "c", or right click).

If you are not on Kodi (14.0 and greater), the IPTV Stalker shouldn't work. Also, if you are still having trouble with channels, always try resetting the PVR and guide/EPG, and disabling/enabling Live TV. Also, remember that this server is in test mode. That means that its common that your favorite channel may not be up when you want it the most (i.e. right now). If you are seeing other channels, that just means that current channel may not be up. If its global, do a little reading to see if others are having issues, especially those who have yellow or blue letters for their usernames.

Those who can, upgrade to Kodi 15.0 beta, and see if PVR.Stalker (0.8) is better for you. Upgrading to 15.0 may not be the right thing if you aren't secure in your Kodi skills and can't bear that a favorite add-on no longer works.

Is anyone else having issues with stalker connecting in simple iptv pvr, it only seems to connect once, disable pvr and reset settings and re-enable, than after that if i were to close kodi and restart I need to go through the process again. Any fix for this?

No, its doubtful there will be a fix for this, as the different components in the chain of events don't always occur in right order. IPTV Stalker is only relaying the connections between the NFPS middleware and the PVR client in Kodi. If you can upgrade to Kodi 15.0 beta, the PVR Stalker eliminates the "middleman' and even though the connect may not always work right away, you don't have to do as much to do to get it going.

I am getting an msg IPTV Stalker Http Error 404 not found when Kodi searches for channels or when I try to run the IPTV Stalker profile in video addons

Update: Using AFTV and Kodi Helix

Installed the emulator apk and added the profile in the amazon home section. It seems to pull channels there just when I am trying to configure in Kodi it donnt want to work ;(

Well gave up on AFTV and went to my AFTV stick

I downloaded file in Method #3

Then proceeded to follow the How To in Post #1

Things seemed to work but I did not change the URL in portal 1 added Mac and Enabled send serail.. There was a default but was different the 1.iptvprivateserver.tv. It was http://xxxxxx.iptvprivateserver.tv

Is this correct? If so I will proceed to complete on AFTV box :)

Hi,

My setup:-

1. Android Box - Himedia Q5
2. Kodi 14.2 Helix
3. Iptv stalker version 1.0.18
4. PVR IPTV simple client version 1.9.12

I cant get the m3u server to start. When i click on start i get an error msg "server not started. Try again in a moment"

I have follow your guide on my PC windows 8.1, My android phone, and my android tablet all of them work except on my android box (above) which is connected to my TV.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Hi everyone:
Does the configuration in the first post work for a MAC computer running OSX10 Yosemite?
I have performed this configuration in many Windows computers, but in this MAC has been impossible to me. The error that I receive is : URL Timeout .... after configure the IPTV Stalker, when I launch it, I get the different categories, but when I click ALL, I receive that error several seconds after. I'm not as expert using MAC as I'm working with windows. Including, I added a folder with many logos of the channels, but in windows.
Please, has someone had this problem before? Any idea?
IMAC mid 2008, running OS X 10.10 Yosemite
Running Kodi 15 RC1 (I started using Helix 14.4, later Insegard Beta2, and I had the same problem)
I'm using Video plugin Stalker v1.0.18, and PVR IPTV simple client
I have another computer with windows here working perfect. Please again, I'll appreciate any idea. Best regards

In IPTV Stalker settings, try resetting to Default, with no MAC. If it doesn't work there, enter a valid MAC and try it again. It could be that Kodi isn't resolving the url also, make sure your other add-ons are up-to-date.
