How to integrate an EPG into PVR IPTV Simple Client using IPTV Stalker

Make sure you go into IPTV Stalker and do an initial load of the channels there by selecting NFPS, then All. This sets the cache which the program calls the links from.

Still not much luck as restarting the m3u via the config options. I am only getting a very small numbers of the channels to load. After viewing the streams for a few minutes via the the Amazon Fire TV, the few PVR streams that seem to work drops. Any other suggestions?

Hello,

I am using Kodi on Windows 8.1.

I have followed all the instructions in first post of this thread. I am getting all the channels (160+) and they are working great (most of them). But I am not getting any data in EPG. When I click on EPG, it reads "No EPG entries".

I have tried resetting the EPG database and also restarted Kodi to no avail. Anyone has any ideas what could be the reason?

Thanks.

The url for testing NFPS is 1.iptvprivateserver.tv (portal.iptvprivateserver.tv in IPTV Stalker) and there is no special one for HD. This thread supports integration of different add-ons to get an EPG guide on Kodi, so you may be in the wrong place.

Did you follow the instructions to set the epg? also which version of kodi are using? what addon? more info, easier to help.

Yes I followed the instructions in the first post of this thread by Dara. Kodi version is 14.2. For EPG link I am using http://ip.gd.org/NFPSE.

My PVR addon is "PVR IPTV Simple Client". The IPTV Stalker client version I am using is 1.0.18.

When I disable and enable the PVR client, I see the message for a while that reads "Importing EPG from clients". In my live TV section, if I click on channels, I see all the channels. But when I click on EPG, it is blank and reads "No EPG entries."

Thanks.

Ok I reached the thread located at http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?2940-NFPS-xmltv-EPG-Grabber and then changed my EPG link to http://ip.gd/NFPSF and now it is working :)

Thanks for your help!

Hello,

Will it be possible to block the adult channels from being displayed in the EPG and Channels list? I have set the parental lock in the IPTV Stalker plugin config and when I go to the channels through the plugin, then I am asked for the password. But if I just go through the EPG or live tv section, I can get into adult channels without any password.

Thanks

Use the Channel manager to hide or remove. I'm not sure if the changes are permanent though. Use the context menu when highlighting the channel. If you are worried about adult channels being accessed, you may want to consider creating profiles also.

I cant seem to figure out what I should set the epg time to, I've been driving myself crazy for about an hour trying to set it properly but it's always incorrect, i stay in california, I'm 3 hours behind newyork, these channel's are eastern so I set it 3 hours ahead and it still isn't correct, can someone please help me?

I can not get the stalker 1.18 client server to start, just keeps saying server not started. The guide drove me crazy from xmltvguide when it was originally running. I have just been using iVue since the guide is all correct etc

when using the is.gd links you need to set it to -7 in IPTV stalker (for Pacific time).. then purge your PVR and EPG Database from settings and restart kodi.
if using pvr.stalker, you do not have to set anything. - this is the reccomended client

You might want to try the wizard for the iVue guide, which takes a more direct route to clean out the database. In the addon_data under userdata for script.tvguidetecbox, try deleting the the source5.db while Kodi is off.

Hello All,

Not sure if this will make sense to all but wanted to ask. I am on Kodi Isengard 15 beta 1 and used this guide to integrate the is.gd/NFPSE EPG with the stalker 1.0.18 video addon and it's working good showing me a guide, etc...My Issue is: Whenever I watch any channel using this setup, I get audio to cut out on me every 1-3 min for a second or two and then stream continues... It's very frustrating since it's hard to watch anything when you miss what is being said. This happens constantly ever 1-3 min for a sec or 2...This does not happen when playing streams via Genesis, Phoenix, IceFilms, Pandora, Plex etc.., but only with this IPTV Simple client with stalker addon integration based on this guide. I am running a Matricom G-box Q android TV box. This also happens whether I route sound through tv speakers or a home theater via digital optical out. If this is not the correct forum/thread please let me know what I can post this for help. Anyone know why this is happening or how to fix?

I would test IPTV Stalker first to see if you have any issues with that first. If you don't, try connecting it with the PVR simple client without the guide link to see if that's the issue. If there is no issue, the issue maybe with the remote access of the guide. As Kodi 15.0 is still a beta, it could be the built-in PVR is not working just right too.

I recommend testing the PVR Stalker 0.8 if using Kodi 15.0, which won't rely on as many moving targets as this integration. Since there are problems with the Kodi Android installed stalker not properly updating, you probably would have to use the bundled version of the Kodi with 0.8 in the pvr stalker thread or the EPG Grabber thread. I could understand why you may not want to start with a fresh Kodi, as its not easy to back up your installed add-ons/settings without diving into the file structure, but it may be worth the effort.
