How to integrate an EPG into PVR IPTV Simple Client using IPTV Stalker

does someone else have problems since this morning in the epg??
until last night it worked great , but now the epg is loading very slowly and eventually not even showing

Yes, I also am having issues since yesterday afternoon with guide not showing using the is.gd link with simple client integration..

hmmm. i think the changes to the dummy channels may have broken something I'll revert the change for now.

update. reversion solved the issue. you should see guide data again now.

OK everyone, another few questions. The guide has been working GREAT for me, huge thanks to the authors.

1/ Is it possible to add additional channels? I have a few additional local Canadian channels I'd like to add to the guide but it's not evident how. I like everything that's there, I just want to add to it, not totally re-do it.

2/ Some channels present multiple source options the first time you select them, however on subsequent selections it seems to automatically go with whatever your choice was the first time you selected the channel. Is it possible to un-do this selection to select the alternate source? Reason being - at least one of my channels has gone dead on the one source, but the other is still working...but iVue automatically selects the dead stream everytime I select this channel now.

Keep up the good work, thanks again!

ivue uses its own data source. different than the one dara and I maintain.. You cant add to the iview one, but your welcome to download my grabber and modify it as you willl..

your going to want to learn how to use mc2xml and take a look through the bat file i created.. if you fix the canadian grab by all means share it, but no support will be given for people wanting to modify it, you need to figure it out on your own.

PrivatePilot, you must be asking about the iVue guide, and this thread isn't about that. Anyway, you can't easily add channels to that guide. If you want to make a change to which source is selected by that guide, highlight the channel, and either hit 'c' on your keyboard, right click with a mouse, long press on the channel if using a tablet or use the menu button on your remote to bring up the context menu, and you'll see 'Remove Stream'. Click on that, and then do that again to 'Select Stream'.

Thanks for the reply. Sure wish there was a way to manage/add channels within the guide software itself, is that something that could be considered for future versions or is there a techincal reason behind why none of the Kodi guide options seem to implement such a feature? It looks like the mc2xml route is beyond my confort/technicality level unfortunately.

Sorry for the iVue specific questions...seemed like (based on some of the thread read) there was some iVue technical questions being asked and it had leaned that way at a few points. Is there a better thread you could point me to? ;)

Thx again

Is there anyway to Disable and Enable this after each reboot? I found a shortcut that is working, but I know with the developers here that must be an automated approach.

I was having to go in and find the PVR client after each reboot, then Disable and ReEnable the Client to get the TV channels to load.

I installed Super Favorites "https://github.com/spoyser/spoyser-repo/raw/master/zips/repository.spoyser/repository.spoyser-1.0.6.zip"
This allowed me to Right Click on the IPTV Simple Client and Save to Super Favorites, Then I went to Super Favorites Folder, then Saved that to KODI favorites.

This allowed me to have one click access from the main Kodi Menu, directly to the PVR folder, where I can disable, and enable the IPVT Simple PVR Client

Anyone else have any better solutions to Disable and Enable this client after each reboot?

Some code in the Settings, to auto Disable and Enable upon Kodi Start would be a quick fix?

Thanks
I am new to Kodi and may be overlooking a method to make this process simpler to get the Live TV to work automatically on each reboot.

Nonpublished go to system select live TV and make sure it is enabled.
System
Addons
Enabled or disabled addons which ever applies
Pvr clients
Simple pvr
And enable or disable whichever you're looking to do
