so going through the logs, and some people cant read i guess.. hitting the epg server repeatedly over and over, if can no longer access the url, you have been banned, this is your only warning.. read the first post and follow the giant red letters.

Setting it to epg.ninja/NFPSF.xml may have done the trick for me. Thanks Blackbear.

Don't know who that message about being banned was aimed at but I have my epg set to update every 1440mins, and have done for a while.

people might restart kodi a couple of times in a row sometimes when installing things testing keyboard.xml, advancedsettings.xml, and other tweaks.
so when you say hammering I suppose you mean consistently every 2 hours or more ie. not reading the first post? :)

also how often do you fetch the 28 hours of epg data, once per 24 hours?

I wouldn't worry much,was talkin to psycon and he was referring to some ip's that would hit the server every few minutes steady.
it updates twice/day,dont know when but lately its updated a lot more often as I have been working on the epg data.

thanks blackbear.. twice a day seems like a good idea. or rather; reasonable.
and yeah I noticed you been busy and also been providing raw files in "emergencies" for quite some time, keep up the good work. :)

Hey Blackbear, I am trying to figure out the indian channels stream so we can have correct EPG, so far:

zee cinema = UK Stream Please add UK EPG
B4U Movies is not US stream, it is Indian stream so EPG is wrong
Movies OK is Indian stream, also has wrong EPG currently
Set Max is UK Stream, also has wrong epg currently


Please correct these when time permits, I will check more channels later, tnx

thanks, I would tell you right away but after I reset the TV guide in kodi, it is not obtaining epg, it does this often, I just have to wait till later today or tomorrow before it fetches the epg again. I will check then

same here, i have followed the steps to add the epg and it worked for a while but now its gone and nothing makes it come back...i tried the different url's listed with no luck, i disabled tv on kodi then clear data on guide and tv and still nothing, i just keep checking this forum to see if anyone is trying anything different.

I think that the server may be down. They may be updating it...it was working today until 3pm EST.

All s fixed.. clear your databases and restart kodi if it doesnt self fix.

some of our sources have been showing to play a little game of musical chairs right now, nothing we cant compensate for, and by we i mean balckbear, guy's a machine, killin it over there.

blackbear the EPG for all these movie channels are just showing "MOVIE", some of the channels even have the exact same description with the wrong timing in it. Only one or 2 channels actually have Movie in EPG, but all the other actually show the names of the movie. Just like they did before you made the changes, as they were wrong. Please find another source maybe that has better EPG for these channels, again they are mostly UK Streams. tnx

Blackbear,

For the past day or two the info for [CH 115] ITV B has been showing the info for [CH 78] ITV

Is this something that you can rectify at some stage or is it an error at the source?

Or could it be something to do with the fact that the channel name is actually ITV Be but appearing on channel list as ITV B
