the correct version should have 24hr and 72hr epg options,the wrong version has english and full.
reason i ask is there is a older pvr stalker nfps(its not on epg.ninja site though) that doesnt have the dst fix that does exactly what your saying.

Yes I have the version with the 24 or 72 hours. I checked the country/timezone in Kodi and region is USA (12h). This issue with thr epg being one hour behind is only an issue with my 2 amazone fire tvs. I also have this set up on my galaxy s6 phone and the epg is perfect. I even uninstalled kodi on my fire tv and reinstalled because I thought that would fix the issue. Is there a way to change the xml to the cst epg from the ninja website?

unzip this file and try it plse(use as a local file).when u say ur cst i take it ur in a area that dont observe dst by any chance?

also have you deleted the cache_xmltv.xml(think thats whats its called) from you addon_data/pvr.stalker folder?

thanks I will try that. Should I just place it in the addon_data/pvr.stalker folder? will stalker client NFPS recognize it automatically or do I need to use it with the regular stalker client. I'm in Chicago, IL. we are cst here.

in the addon_data/pvr.stalker folder there should be a xml file there.think its called cache_xmltv.xml(or something like that).delete it copy this file there and rename it to original filename that was there and restart kodi.
clear you guide data(under general and guide) under tv tab also before restart.


btw there is no reason why you timezone shud be any different from anywhere else.do you have program descriptions?

It did make a change, but now instead of the guide being an hour behind what is shown, it is an hour ahead. Can you adjust it to one hour back? Thank you for much for your time and effort on this btw. I'm not sure what you mean by program descriptions...

get this straight for me plse.
in reference to the timeline bar.
before the guide was 1 hr to the left or right of the timeline bar?
now its 1 hr to the left or right of the timeline bar?
also goto the epg.ninja site and look close to the bottom you will see options for the online epg,theres,atlantic,eastern,central,ect
tell which one of those guide matches for you,obvisiouly is shud be central but....
and which guide are you trying 24 or 72 hr? stick with same one while we try figure this out.

also have you tried the non nfps pvr stalker?

I tried using the build in non nfps pvr stalker client, but it always stated "unable to load channels" I used the directions on how to set up with IKS66 and I couldn't get it to work. I even tried IPTV simple client earlier today and was able to get the guide working using
hxxps://iks66.tv/main/EPG/mac/00:1A:78:XX:XX:XX/donation/XXXXXXXXX/fname/NFPSF1 , but that guide was like 6 hours off lol and was glitchy. I had to keep resetting my mac to get it to load time and again. Thank you for all your help.

when you switch from stalker nfps to the non nfps stalker you must reset your mac address(goto papiao site and change a letter/number) and save it.log back in and change it back to what it was if you want to keep the same mac.
reason is nfps stalker generates serial number,ect internally.
non nfps u have to enetr a serial,devide id's,signature so they dont match what nfps version generates so u get failed to load.

no regarding ur guide,
what i did with the test file was shift the start/stop times 1 hr back(it should of moved the entire guide 1 hr left of the timeline bar) which by you description of the original problem should have fixed your offset but didnt.

i would install the non nfps version and try NFPSF2(24hr) or NFPSF4(72hr).
do what i said above and it should load the channels...it may fail the first time u try.it should give a popup retrying and load the second time.if it dont disable/enable live tv.

non nfps just pops up "unable to load channels" after resetting my mac.These are my settings for non nfps stalker client:

Active Portal 1
Connection Timeout 15
Mac: Obviously can't list this

Still coming up as unable to load channels. disabled/enabled live tv 20 times and changed mac again. I guess it's just going to be off an hour either way. Aside from that it isn't that big of a deal. At least the guide loads. I also tried talking the xml, cache and settings from my phone and copying it to my fire tv. Just not sure why the guide is perfect on my phone and not the fire tv.Thanks for all your help!

only few things cause fail to load,incorrectly entered mac
incorrectly enetred server url
invalid signature,device id's,serial
epg doesnt have to be enetred and it shud least load the channels

if same setting are correct on phone i would be looking at the firetv settings,does it have a dst setting,does it have ntp server setting,ect

Stalker client nfps works perfect on my phone. I didn't try the non nfps on the phone. I was using version 0.8.4 of the non nfps too. Is there an updated version I should be using?

UPDATEI got it to work on the non nfps stalker client!!!! I changed all signature, device id's, serial and made them longer and even more random and cleared the data and restarted as you suggested. I can only assume that the random information I put in for the signature, device id's and serial was not long enough. Thank you for all your help throughout the night!!

you can but only one can be turned on at a time.just make sure u use the same mac signature,device id's,serial.

what will happen is ex u have one box running and forget to turn it off and turn the other on using the same info it will kick the other box off( it will get failed to get stream url).
now if your using the newer pvr stalker which has a auto reconnect feature this will go back and forth and prob get ur mac eventually banned by papiao.

so safe way is make sure one is turned off before turning other on and u be ok.

i posted this info before but forget where but technically u can get the info nfps versions of pvr.stalker uses also,i have never looked at what info nfps versions send(if its serial,signature,both device id's) but if you look in your kodi.log for this line u can see the server login...highlight are info thats important.
