c/p news update from dvbken

Now that XMLTV is out of the way, after some fixes/improvements timeshifting is up next.

fixes/improvements to come:
- better descriptive notifications specifically for errors
- auto re-authenticate when authorization is lost
- update the epg data if it was last loaded more that 15 mins ago

For some reason, I can't find where to enter that URL for the guild. I don't have a scroll bar in my Stalker - Settings, unless I am looking at the wrong one?

I confused myself as well, but i am old, im using kodi 15, stalker client 8, iptv stalker 1.18, i cant get this work to save my life, i have been reading here for days, the addon works fine, it the stalker pvr thats giving me fits,

I was just curious, what is wrong with the downloadable Isengard stalker 0.8 version for android and why a new kodi apk has to be used with stalker client builtin? I only ask because I don't want to have to uninstall/reinstall kodi for new apk and reload all my settings all over again, is there any way to make the downloadable version work in android?

The reason is that the 0.7 built-into the Kodi Android isn't properly uninstalling when installing the 0.8 version. There is a work-around that might work, installing a clone of that version that is just named differently, but will install in different directories. I attached psycon's version, but I haven't personally tested it ... use at own risk!!!!!

Thanks Dara...Sorry, but I am a little confused, can you explain the workaround in more detail? Also, is the attached file an update to the 0.8 stalker PVR client that I just install over the top of my current 0.8 stalker PVR client?

For android only, on a unbundled Kodi 15.0, just install the "2" version I posted, and disable the built in 0.7 PVR.Stalker, then enter the required info on the Stalker Client 2. Don't install the real 0.8 version, it's not required.

HI and HELLO DARA sorry for jumping in but please understand . I am confuse .I am using iptv stalker addon version 1.0.18 and pvr iptv simple client version 1.9.3 . In the live tv section I am getting the guide and epg with aal the channels, BUT WHEN I CLICK ON MOST OF THE CHANNELS THEIR ARE NOT SHOWING . yet THE ADULTS SOME SPORTS and lot of countries channels are working . AM I using the wrong version of the pvr simple client 1.9.3. if yes where can I get the newer version . THANK YOU

As Dara said. It is just plain old version 0.8, but I renamed so it installs as "Stalker Client 2" - so it wont install overtop of anything, rather, beside it..

Thx psycon. When I installed Isengard I uninstalled the stalker pvr client builtin with it 0.7 before I installed the new Stalker 0.8 version and now I will uninstall the 9.8 before I install your new stalker 2 0.8 client. How do I get the builtin 0.7 to reinstall it or do not need it anymore if am uninstalling 0.8 and installing 0.8 stalker 2?

that is a brain twister...

But just ignore the builtin one and keep it disabled if the modified one is working for you..


Whenever Kodi Beta 2 is released it is likely that the built in stalker plugin will be updated to the current version and you can start over fresh again (as you should do anyways whenever using a beta version of anything)

Hi, I loaded the stalker 2 PVR client that Dara uploaded and installed it on my G-Box Q android TV box. I uninstalled all other stalker PMR clients and also disabled the simple PVR cleint. I then configured the new stalker 2 client with is.gd EPG and 1.xxxxxx.tv. When starting Live TV via Kodi 15 beta 1 settings I get a stalker error popup about not being able to load channels. I don't understand in the below log saying I don't have mac or time zone, etc. or it trying to connect to 127.0.0.1 when I have entered all the correct parameters in my android TV box as I do in my windows PC and stalker client is working on windows. It's like it's not reading the settings I just configured on android. Log is below:

I just turned my computer to see the new guide on my Windows computer and WOW!! Nice work!! It's pretty much full.


I'm thinking of hooking up a computer in the bedroom now instead of using my Fire TV w/SPMC now. lol
