Yeah, I guess the author should mention it but I just noticed the channel list has changed on the addon as well as it did on the Mag254.

I tried to install the Bluestacks emulator but the screen is stucked on Downloading game data and I did not find anything to fix this yet.
Delete everything and start over and then :
A work around is to open your browser into your bluestacks and go to:

HTML:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.vasilchmax&hl=en
click install then sign into Google play and download it but don't forget to install the mx player followed by the APK mx player.

I guess this is something i'm missing.... I installed the mx player from google play, but what is the APK mx player that you are talking about?

if you installed the mx player from the play store and you can see it in bluestacks, youre good to go

if some of the links still arent playing, they may be down, but make sure to get into the mx player settings and into the decoder settings, first 2 boxes under software decoder should be checked

Gabed, that is something you need for the mx player, the mx player will ask you to install it when you open the mx player the first time in order for the mx player to work the proper way.
Try to uninstall the mx player and reinstall it, when you open the first time it will expose a message which will tell you install the APK mx player and the version number take a note of this or just take a picture with your cell phone and then go to the play store or aptoide to grab it from there.

Thanks, I did how you said... but for some channel I still get the error "Failed to get the stream URL" and on the other it's all grey (no video, only audio)...

Sure make sure in decoder setting in mx player you check the options for S/W+.

Also very important you do this:
open the emulator then hit on the top right corner where you see the three dots on the top of each other and choose as of your mx player for your external player.

do as date said, you have to set the mx player as your external media.. click the mouse in the top right corner, choose external media player, close emulator, open it back up and choose a movie or live channel, it should then ask you which media player you wanna use, chooose mx

Probably I am dumb, but I do not see the 3 dots: When I start bluestacks I don't see the dots and when I run Kodi in the emulator, it starts full screen and there are no dots  :)

you are trying to set up bluestacks right? if you are, open bluestacks then open the emulator.. once the emulator is open use your mouse to click up in the top right hand corner of the screen

If by emulator, you mean kodi, I did it...

Ok so you are mixing two things:
1- Stalker is an Add-on we install on kodi (no need for emulator or bluestacks for kodi, just you install the stalker from zip)
2- you need to install Bluestacks on pc so you can install the emulator
3-No need for Bluestacks for an Android machine since you can go ahead and install the emulator right from the play store

The three dots will be in the emulator, they will appear only if you open your emulator and point the mouse on top right corner inside of the emulator and click it then you will see the three dots so click on them and chose your mx player as of your external player, do this and you will be good.

Guys I really appreciate all your patience in explain me stuff: my level of competence is equal to zero. I run a windows machine, and I installed bluestacks because DarkSide told me that channels like Rai1 and Rai3 (Italian channels) work on the emulator. When I run Bluetacks it opens a new shell with an android application player. I installed Kodi in it, but I still can't watch those channels. Honestly, I think I am missing a piece: I thought that buestacks is the emulator. So at this point I think I will give up, I will just use Kodi on my pc and will watch only what I can hoping in a future update of the stalker pvr client

There is no stupid question, we all come here to learn then we help each other, don't give up and instead keep going after it until you get it done.
You don't need to install the kodi inside the bluestacks, for the bluestacks all you need is the emulator and the MX player plus the APK MX player, done.

You install kodi by itself separately right from the browser you have on your browser machine IE or Firefox or Google chrome not related to the bluestacks at all and then you download the stalker from post one and install it from zip.

Is it just me are almost all the channels down? I got 1 channel to work so far and the rest say "working" with the loading icon then it stops and don't play.

Edit: Some others play but almost none of the US ones don't play for me.

Are the US channels region IP locked?

I hate to say I am totally confused. At this point I think I downloaded something wrong.
  1. When I start bluestacks, it starts bluestacks app player, so I thought this is the emulator, otherwise I don't really understand what is the emulator for bluetacks that I need to download (And that it might explains why I don't see the 3 dots on the top right corner).
  2. If i only need MX player, how can i use the stalker add on with MX player?

The Stalker oddon is for Kodi. Bluestacks,mx player and stb emulator are a different set up completely.
