I'm getting this error "PLAY ERROR: HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized"
anytime mate
and thanks for the reports
Couch
Seem to be getting a small issue Could be myside but ive tried and done what I can
with the pvr sometimes on kodi pc kodi will go not responding. Sometimes when I boot back up kodi I see a quik flash of the pvr loading
I disable live tv clear live tv data and guide data clear cache and reboot kodi
Upon loading same thing pvr does a quik flash but nothing loads.
Ive found the only process that works Is
Disabling live tv clearing everything disabling pvr Reboot kodi click the pvr setup again enable everything clear everything presto bango everything works
In all cases where the pvr hasn't loaded live tv and vod within the addon are functional its only the pvr that isn't ?
Again this seems to only happen when kodi crashes....Using win 7 Kodi 16.1
maybe epg xmltv file size was too big / slow to be downloaded by your system
it failed to be sync'ed with the pre-loaded m3u playlist
please send me the log file, so we can find the culprit
btw, have you tried to change the value of the "UPDATE INTERVAL" @ settings | tv | guide to the highest one ?
I'm getting this error "PLAY ERROR: HTTP Error 401: Unauthorized"
If you are on NFPS, it's down this morning, probably a server error.
yep! there might be a problem on the server
well first i want to thank you for the hard work you do and awsome addons i have this small problem on vod i have mac from iptv66 using kodi 16.1 jarvis fresh install all work perfect once i did the setup channels load nice and the tv guide but vod wont play at all am getting this error
can you help me thanks
If you're using a MAC based set-up, it could be related to an error that Couch Potato (The One and Only Sofa Spud) described previously...

Can I just ask and please don't shoot me down. I have potato tv working but I do not have epg loading or TV type guide .
I have lite version of potatoe I have done the troubleshooting as advised on previous posts a page back
hahaha... I don't want to shoot you down
but I will only suck your blood until all that's left is skin and bone lol
but it will never happen if you follow these steps:
1. disable live tv
2. clear both tv & epg data
3. exit kodi
4. goto: Kodi/userdata/Database
5. delele all these files: Epg*.db & TV*.db
6. start kodi
7. re-enable live tv

Hi everyone
Am I missing something I've downloaded and am running ver 104 r2 but can't seem to access the VOD section through the PVR. They work properly when accessing them through the video add-on but I can't find them anywhere on the PVR.
Is this by design or am I missing something?
Using IPTV Rocket with a MAC and donation, KODI 16.1 on android.
Thanks
What you posted is the iptv channel list "accessing from Potato TV".
What you need to do is on the potatoTV screen there is a "Settings: PVR Simple Client".
Click on that and it loads your info into the PVR Simple Client.
When you restart Kodi, and if the PVR Simple Client is Enabled, It will load the Ch.'s and EPG info and you will get a TV Tab on your Home Screen.
Clicking that and selecting guide will give you what you are looking for.

Yes I have done both a few times. I might just try reseting everything later today and go from there.
