POTATO TV (IPTV Stalker addon)

It will work on a Firestick. Install the repo from the zip file available here:

Code:

i tried the link and still cant get it but i was able to find a way to download couchpotato manager but when i try and run it it tells me {wrong network settings or cp not running} do you want to change them now. i have looked though all the post and cant find and info on that

Download the zip file to your computer using the link I mentioned. Once downloaded, sideload the zip file to your Firestick. (There are plenty of videos on Youtube dealing with sideloading to a FS.) Once on the FS, install the repo.

Does potato addon work with Ivue guide. If so anyone know how to set it up. Using MX-GII-2 box, Kodi 17.4

yes it does!
but you have to link all the proper channels manually

Code:
1. open: potato addon
2. click: Tools | Add To Favourites | IPTV | ALL
3. open ivue addon
4. choose: a channel (ivue's)
5. right-click on the channel
6. you may also have to click "REMOVE STREAM" if the channel has been linked to the other addon
7. click: CHOOSE STREAM
8. click: FAVOURITE (top-bar)
9. choose the proper favourite channel which matches with ivue's one
10. move your cursor & look at the red circle
11. if the red circle is still with your selected favourite channel, you can click the SAVE
if not, you have to repeat the step #9

12. repeat steps: #5 - #11 for the other channels

Why so complicated?? Why can we link your addon with Ivue creator, but not load and channels. Same story trying to use TV full screen EPG. Is there any EPG guide that can load your channels or channel list(m3u file) without doing it one at a time??
The reason I m asking is no one is updating the channel xmltv list using simple client, been missing epg data for months. I thought creating my on xmltv list( another great adventure) and your m3u channel with another EPG besides simple client would work.

The issue isn't with the Potato TV add-on. There is a file called the addons.ini for Ivue that can be used to set up the proper command from Ivue for each of the channels that directs Potato TV to open it. You still need to do some configuration for the channels that you might be interested in. Maybe asking the nice folks in the user group for Ivue for help out with that.
