MAG 254 Update 2.18-r16 Feb 06 - Update 2.18-r17 - discussion thread

Nothing changed on my mag250.

With that r16 not working at the best on the mag254 and this r17 release, it seems logical that infomir has been watching the results.
Could be that the 250 and 254 are test runs for the mag256 firmware update, which has been anticipated.


This mag254 is working fine with the r17 to this point.
 
I noticed that my MAG254 had autoupdated to r-17 this morning.
This seems to have fixed an issue I have had with subtitles on HD tv channels.
However I see that now the EPG is not working!
Anbody else with this problem and hopefully a solution?

I've just seen what the EPG problem is caused by, I do not get any confirmation that the ntp address has been saved

suggestions please

Do not mention your alternative IPTV Provider garbage again. This is a recurrent theme in your messages, and it has all the trappings of a shill.

And there is no issues after this r17 update with Rocket.
I do not think vapour's issue has to do with the r17 update (could try a few reboots maybe might fix that)
The r16 had some issues.
The r14 was fine.
 
I did not mention what other service I use, I just said I use another service is that against the rules?
Very premature to call it garbage without having tried it or even knowing what I use.
The other service I use there is also a forum, and there it is allowed to discuss other iptv providers, because they are not scared of the competition because they are light years ahead of this service and I should after more than 200 days of testing and as a paying subscriber be allowed to call this complete garbage.
 
I am sure you are a nice person, but you really make yourself sound stupid. From the beginning I tried to come with constructive criticism, but no one listened. How can It be that every time I mentioned I used another iptv service that was working better for me than this, then in less than an hour I had more than 50 users writing to me in pm about what the service is called. This is not my first user here, but in total I have helped more than 100 people getting proper iptv and will continue saving long as possible. I do not like to getting scammed.
If I get a refund or at least an apology from crazed then I will stop
