if your unsing stalker client(I use 0.8.3), & tv shows in the guide.iptv stalker doesn't show it if I remember correctly.
the problem with that channel and a few others(I think there are 3 in total from what I recall without looking) is when they entered it into the nfps server either by mistake or delibertly(I assume it was by mistake as only a few channel names have it) there is a leading or trailing space in the channel name( & Tv it is a leading one).the only way I found that works to make the channel appear in the epg is by replacing the space with & # x 2 0 (no spaces).stalker client is fine with it and shows it in epg where iptv stalker doesn't seem to like it.i cant make em both happy.i have also tried using & # 1 3 2 and neither will show it in the epg.

here's what it loos like in the log
Code:
10:58:25 T:140496417072896 INFO: PVRChannelGroupInternal - AddAndUpdateChannels - added TV channel ' & TV'
10:58:25 T:140496417072896 INFO: PVRChannelGroupInternal - AddAndUpdateChannels - added TV channel 'Jus One'
notice the leading space...and the other channel don't have it.
another...this channel was just added yesterday...well they changed the name,i think it was Ecuador 2.
Code:
10:58:25 T:140496417072896 INFO: PVRChannelGroupInternal - AddAndUpdateChannels - added TV channel 'TV 7 Ecuador '
it has the space trailing.
if I open the log in a hex editor it shows that space as a asci 20.

I see, but I am using Stalker client 0.8.4 and it does not show (I had stalker client 0.8.3 before and same thing), I understand that for iptv stalker it wont, but for 0.8.3 and 0.8.4 Stalker clients it should right ? or does it for you? For me it used to work couple months back, but since has never loaded. thanks

Is the epg for TLC working for anyone? I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong.

Thanks
Yes it's showing for me. Go to System>Tv>Guide & make sure that Hide No Information Labels isn't enabled (radio button not filled with blue). Go to Channel Manager, find TLC & make sure that the radio buttons are filled with blue for both Active and Activate Guide. If they're not then click the button to fill with blue, save changes now, then ok.

Ok I got it working now but the guide is an hour off I tried both links NFPSF and NFPSFD and it hasn't changed the time, I cleared the guide before making changes. Unfortunately now I'm banned for 6hours. Thanks for the help its much appreciated.

Mine was an hour off yesterday. I use NFPSE - adding the D brought it back on time, so changing to NFPSFD should work for you when your guide next updates.

new versions of pvr.stalker.nfps are in testing... they solve the serial number issue and DST/time offset issue.

also did some work today to fill in more of the colors on the guide, you should notice a change over the next day or 2

blackbear199, channels 1039 Ten Cricket & 1045 Ten Sports guide is totally wrong. on the other hand 1040 TEN Action guide is accurate (owned by same network but seems like stream is slightly different), all of these should be Indian streams. please fix if possible

The channels load fine but when importing the guide it says "Importing guide from Clients" and stays on "France 10" for a good 30 - 40 seconds …..

My first suggestion would be to disable live tv, then down to 'guide' & make sure that 'hide no information labels' is unchecked/disabled/off, then clear guide data, then back into live tv & clear data & finally enable live tv.

Firstly, thanks to you ninjas for providing an excellent resource at no additional cost. I've had no problems getting the guide to load….it even shows my timezone correctly….but lately I suspect some of the programmes stated on the guide do not tally with what's playing….for instance CNN guide will say MainSail but the programme playing is clearly not about sailing etc etc.

My question relates to the time the guide takes to load…like in the first quoted post….when I start Kodi the guide loading status on the screen shows 'Golden Premier 1' and just stays there for a good 40-60 sec…then it all just speed loads in a rush, often crashing Kodi and leaving me to try again.

I tried the solution suggested in the second quoted post and the same thing happened.

In my Stalker settings I chose Prefer XMLTV and the Remote URL entered is: http://epg.ninja/NFPSF.xml

Under TV settings in Kodi I have chosen to load the guide for 3 days and set the guide update interval to 1440 min as directed.

Can I prevent the delay in loading the guide at startup by choosing the english guide only: http://epg.ninja/NFPSE.xml ?

Most important question….should I change the url setting on the PVR Stalker config page, is it going to lock me out of IPTV and create another of those 'Change MAC address and do it all again" dramas?

As I mentioned in another thread by you related to this issue...

"If it happens often enough to be almost predictable, you might try disabling the EPG and doing several Kodi exits and restarts. If the PVR loads fine w/o the EPG, you're heading toward establishing causality."

Ultimately, it doesn't mean something is wrong with the EPG, but rather your configuration can't handle the memory load.

Give it a try and report the results.

The other thread youre referring to had a different thrust...that was about kodi quitting after channels loaded. As i said before that doesnt bother me too much.

The post in this thread is about longer than usual times for the guide to load...and what could be done to mitigate that.

Whether i could opt for just the english channels guide to make the guide load faster etc etc....

My system is quite robust imo....it has 2GB DDR RAM, a quadcore S812 Amlogic processor and 16GB of storage.

Well, I tried to cover both here: 1. The load times are normal. Choosing English-only might speed things up a bit, but the difference wíll be minimal. 2. Try loading without the EPG and see what happens. You're trying to isolate/identify the potential vatiables. Yes, 2 GB of RAM should be sufficient. I didn't know that from your prior posting, but let's try it w/o the EPG and see what happens.

Well….if thats how it is then I just will have to learn to live with it. Thanks for the insights.

remember.. trying to load the epg too often is going to get you ip blocked form the server for a few hours.. best best is to wait a couple hours with kodi closed, clear your database and restart kodi

No worries chief…I set the update interval to 1440 min as directed.
