World Football(Soccer) Thread: UCL, EPL, La Liga, Italy, International

I will probably do a poll right before the world cup, but i think Germany is the odds on favorite, all German teams are very discipline. physical and they have an unit that plays together more because most of their players play in the German League (Bundesliga) all year around which i always considered a huge advantage. After i would go Brazil and France with Argentina also having a chance if they can be more cohisive and find someone besides Messi and Dimaria to score goals because Huguain cant seem to score with the National Team on a consistent basis.

Cristiano Ronaldo leaving Real Madrid, will transfer to Juventus. I don't know too much about his tax situation and sentencing, but that has to be part of the reason for leaving.

Watching International Champions Cup, essentially pre-season games... Tottenham blasting Roma without Harry Kane in the first half. Earlier Dortmund blew a 2-0 lead and lost to Benfica in penalties... Dortmund had a chance to wrap up the cup with that clean sheet, but now depart with 7 pts.

The ICC is interesting, but one wishes the World Cup players were involved...Harry Kane, for example, in this instance. It is understandable they need a rest before league season starts, though. I was surprised Dortmund blew that one. They had looked so strong in their last two ICC games. I thought for sure they'd walk away with the cup.

I can see that Bein Sports US, US HD, Espannol and Espannol HD Channels are out of the grid and I understand that it is because DirecTV refused to re-negotiate with Bein Sports and took it out of their available channels.

May I recommend to look for another provider (besides DirecTV) to get the Spanish La Liga Matches. I see that F1 Latinoamerica and F1 Latinoamerica HD feeds come from Movistar F1 Channel from Spain.

Please tell the administrators that they can also get the feed from Movistar La Liga Channel to offer the Spanish La Liga Matches.

Hope this helps to get back our beloved Spanish La Liga Matches.

Well, surprise, surprise (not really). USA vs. Mexico in the 2021 Gold Cup final. Actually, it could have easily been Qatar vs. Canada, both lost on very late scores, USA scores at '87, followed by the longest stoppage time I ever seen, of 9+ min, then Mexico wins in scoring within stoppage time (7 min)... they had to have a penalty to score the first at the end of the first half, and the game had to be paused because the Mexico fans were being racist... then the match turned into a hockey game with fights.

Game is Sunday, in the big hockey puck across from the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.

Wow, USA with their euro league stars not playing beat Mexico's A Team in the Gold Cup Final. Winning score was a set piece in the '117 in extra time. by Miles Robinson.

I don't think I can watch the USA-Canada Womens game... its at 1am my time.

I missed the live play and do not see the replay showing anywhere, nor did I hear who won the match between Canada and USA :(

Well, the end of the 21 year association between FC Barcelona and Lionel Messi. He is expected to sign with Paris Saint-Germain, teaming up again with Neymar and fellow Argentine DiMaria. He had a agreed to a new contract with Barca, but they couldn't get below the La Liga limits, even with a huge pay cut.
