This is mostly due to frame losses but can be due to network issues too. Most of the clients do not do any buffering on the client side and if you start dropping frames then the client has to basically resync so it stops for a moment. The frame drops in my opinion are caused by the servers. If the clients would be updated to have some buffering then most of these would stop. If you use Kodi with PVR Stalker, it has buffering and these buffers can be adjusted so that most of these stop.
@Alucard is there a "how to" to adjust the buffering on kodiwith PVR stalker? I'd like to try it. I get minor freezing/buffering on most channels but it's very often, like every 10-20seconds. Thanks.
Are you sticking with <minvideocachelevel>65</minvideocachelevel>? I see there was some discussion of a lower setting, but no firm resolution. I went with 65 and will stick with it unless I hear otherwise. Thanks!

It would be informative to know in these freezing threads if it's wired or wireless. In my 1 setup a wireless connection wasn't worth a flip until it was wired, then it was smooth with minor glitches.
