yes I do
I'm on sick leave, had to deal with wisdom teeth.

So I decided to keep busy, new hobby, IPTV STB Emulation on my Android box.

How hard can it be, I've been in computers and sat antennas for years :)

Well let me tell you first the software, paid IPTV STB Emulator is flaky at best. Hard to configure, screen keeps disappearing, can't change providers, it keeps disappearing from screen when selecting or trying to.

I'm trying out 2 servers, Voodo and 66IPTV, none of them work so far. I provided the MAC to both installed thet Pro version of IPTV STB Emul.

First it took for ever to input the login and password, I finally figured it out, then all I get is a black screen.

I reinstalled the software after trying to erase cache etc ... Still no TV

Poor support and poor software.

I'll keep you posted

Lots of issues with EMUs. Sometimes an older version works while the latest version doesn't. Sometimes it's the other way around.

I always suggest going with Kodi and the PVR Stalker client if you can.

We don't handle support for third party apps and add-ons, however. We do what we can when we can, but sometimes those issues are beyond our purview.

There is an EMU area farther down the page. You might want to do some rummaging and posting there.

Been watching since the beginning. Don't understand why anyone would use an app for TV when you can just get a box and plug it in. Seems to be a lot of hassle running an emu. I simply turn on the box and am done with it. Tried the emu thing before and was always having to mess with it so gave that up and won't even bother anymore. Just my opinion... Hope you get it going however you choose to. Have a great day!

I have used every box possible, and while I agree that a dedicated box (In my case, Mag 254) is the easiest way to watch IPTV, I do use the EMU on an android box and had it and running in 2 minutes following the directions to a "T". The generic one in the Play Store is the one I use and have had no issues. IMHO using the Kodi stalker app is the least efficient way to use this service.

Thanks first for all your replies.

I was able to use the app on my Android Box but it's flaky as hell.

Never been able to use IPTV66 but Voodoo works well, kind of. Some channels with no sounds or video and sometimes both.

I will seriously look into a Mag box. They are cheap and if I get into this it will be worth it.

There is always a learning curve and not that many information on the subject. Overall I'm having fun :)

dont know if its just on fire tv,
but certain stb emu versions under ver 8 may need the advanced settings like ajax support, and some other advanced settings to be either unchecked ,etc,
something with server settings may have updated, and is now glitching the emu settings , thus not connecting out to server 66.iptv66.tv .

I DONT KNOW IF GLITCH IS ONLY ON FIRE TV AND STB EMU,
HOWEVER, I DONT THINK IT IS .

OK so to keep you up to date I setup my Mag254 today. The emulator was not working well on my Android box. I would be missing the channel listing and when it did work changing channel would kick me out the emulator.

So far the Mag254 seems really cool. Trying 2 services, servers.

Nice toy :) but not much time recording shows ... only 4 hours with most services.

No way to trick it to record on an external device?
