NFPS / Private urlopen error timed out

today i have purchased a year sub from iptvprivateserver.is, set up a mac address and entered the required info into the iptv stalker papaio 10.0.0 addon but all i get is the error "urlopen error timed out".

any suggestions as i have already changed the mac once and did a reset aswell.

That error occurs due to an internet problem. First try to connect to the server via a browser using "11.iptvprivateserver.tv", and see if you get the blue screen with a horizontal barberpole bar. If you don't, your isp maybe blocking access to that server location. You can try later to see if its a temporary issue as well. There may be some geographical blocking going on as well, or someone in the routing is denying you access to the servers. Your isp may also may not have DNS settings to get to the end point, so you may want to try a public DNS service like Google instead of your ISP's.

okay...i tried connecting to "11.iptvprivateserver.tv" but kept getting "this site can't be reached" and i also tried changing my DNS to googles. i have done the DNS change but it seems to have only affected my windows pc and not my nvidia shield tv which is where i am running everything. i cannot change my mac,reset or anything for 24hrs so i guess i'll have to wait and try later. if my isp is blocking it, should i invest in a VPN? will this fix the issue?

Hello Dara, I just bought a iptv stalker 1 year subscription 4 days ago, did all the steps and it work for a day and now getting the same error "urlopen error timeout". I tried the steps you provide, i have the 2.iptvprivateserver.tv and it came up with the blue screen with a horizontal barberpole bar. reset my mac and iptv reset and still having the same issue. please help!!! Thanks

urlopen only happens with the IPTV Stalker, afaik. I've never seen that with the emulator, but I don't test it all that often. Make sure your settings are correct, and that you are sending the device info (serial number and device id).

Thanks for your response, I did not use a emulator I used a browser. i also tried another connect and it work, but when i connect to my LAN it comes up with that error again. I replace my router and it work for about 2 hrs and did the same thing again. I never had this problem before. what else can i try, your help is appreciated greatly. Thanks

I did a ping test on 11.iptvprivateserver.tv and everything was fine see results below but; still getting urlopen errno 10060 don't make any sense if the signal can get thru why am I still getting the error I'm really confused please help someone.

But; when I just try to goto the url from browser I don't get the screen with the horizonal barberpole.

Thanks again wickedjoker, I tried it but; still go the urlopen errno 10060 error when trying to connect. I changed it on the website first then in Stalker Plus. I did a search for that error on goggle and it says its a Stackoverflow error do you know anything about StackOverFlow? It's really crazy iptv use to run great until a few days ago.
