the channels come from a source or sources. That is controlled by some guy that reboots the system when needed. Usually after changes. Now them reboots aren't on the whole system, heavens no. They are on channels. Nothing can be done on what channels need that boot in the ass.
Only that guy really knows.
It's like walking out to your barn and noticing there is no power. Well you fumble around in the dark and find the breaker box. Then magic happens.
No one could possibly have told you that there might be a breaker fault.
I know that's an anology and maybe a poor one, but it is to the point.
