UFC 193 : Rousey vs Holm, Fight Card, Times & TV Channels

I can assure there will be a rematch, probably in Vegas!!!

You think?

UFC isn't a pay-day situation like it is in Boxing. However Dana White has to make sure that Holly gets her due before an immediate rematch. I've seen most of Holly's fights... she no joke as far as striking goes, but rarely on the ground, because no one can get to her. She's not a bad-ass, which is "nice", but she hasn't had the spotlight yet in this sport.

UFC spend so much money on Ronda to hype her and now that she loses. I'm quite sure they would want to make sure that Holly is the real thing before they stop the money to the Ronda's PR.they have done it for a few champions such as GSP and Cain to name a few!! So a rematch is inevitable unless Ronda wants to take some time off

TMZ

Ronda Rousey is "depressed" and "bummed out" after losing her UFC title to Holly Holm, but UFC Prez Dana White tells TMZ Sports there will absolutely be a rematch.

We're told Ronda was kept overnight in an Australian hospital. White tells us she does not have a concussion but there's a "very big gash" in the middle of her lip. White and team searched for the best plastic surgeon in Australia, who's going to do his handiwork today.

Ronda, who spent the night in the hospital with her sister, did not talk about the loss. As Dana tells us, "The last thing a fighter wants to do is talk about a fight when they lose." White says, "There was not a lot of talking."

As for the fight, Dana says it broke all records. He was especially psyched that it "destroyed" the previous record for bars showing a UFC fight -- a record previously set by the Lesnar/Velasquez heavyweight title fight. A record number of bars in various countries showed the fight, including the U.S., Australia, New Zealand and Canada.

Dana had high praise for both fighters. As for Ronda, he says, "What this woman has done has never been done before. We've been doing this for 15 years with huge stars, and Ronda has broken every record."

As for Holly, White says people didn't give her due credit going in ... "Holly had 45 fights before and multiple world titles. She was totally calm and cool." And he says she's score a phenomenal payday.

Dana says, "There will absolutely be a rematch. It's the fight that makes sense."

What if you would of bet the other way you would of had it. BTW I was shocked at the half point of the first round, and from that moment was going for the underdog, she was looking way more impressive and heard Ronda's latest interviews and she was very caquiiii, she thought she was invincible so I know this brought her way back down to earth, especially that visit to the hospital as she was completely dominated and beaten...

Ronda will not be able to beat Holly Holms is a rematch. She is not even close to her in the boxing & kickboxing skills and psychologically she is scared of her as she completely dominated her. Plus it was obvious that Holly was training with men with judo and jujitsu experiencing as it was so easy for her to overpower Ronda and stand back up from the take down. Plus from the start she look bigger and with more muscles than Ronda. My bet for rematch Holly Holms and probably faster as Ronda will come out stronger and more uncontrolled. She has been wining so easy that she stopped training for five, five minute rounds. She was exhausted after round one and was obvious she could not make it passed three rounds.

I couldn't agree with u more I think it will be a long way for Ronda to get back on top if ever

You guys made some valid points, the only way I see Ronda beating Holly is if she takes her to the ground which she could not do last time. she did once now that I remember!!!Also change Manager and focus on MMA instead of all her side projects!!

Nice photo....:)

ronda need to control herself, she went to the fight with the wrong tactics, always chasing and should have been the other way around, plus if you loose your cool like she did ,gives the edge to the opponent ,as far as a rematch hummm ;dont know about it ,ronda was fighting to many fights with not much time in between, and preachers daughter was the best last night, think rondas days are over, her mind is on other jobs ,and she was slagguish ,her speed was not even there.,to me looked like she didnt train like before,or it was the the opponent was 2 times better.

Ronda should have listened to her Mother.......and got rid of her trainer.......and what good is an armbar if someone is continuously punching you in the face.........Ronda does not know boxing Defense or offense ....she leads with her face........NOT SMART
