yes i do.
Is Papiao site down ?

I was finally going to give it a try again after each two or three week "step away from the TV" period and it is still not really working and I can still see allot of frustrated users out there.

I am going to wait again as the site is not responding and I am about 1/2 through the cycle and will not be renewing anything as by this point in time I have come to the conclusion that buying into the concept was no more than just that .... a concept.

Unless of course someone can prove me wrong and get this thing up and running again, I am trying to use STB Emu 7.14.02 but it appears there is some additional step required to link into a specific url and trying to go to the site is not working.

Is Kodi working? I am going to try that next.

The donation checker seems to not be workingI have paid 5 days ago and haven't received anything I know the tech's are working on it but when you email support and don't get a response its very frusteratng So I definitely know what you mean

My boxes stopped working in February when they moved to the new password security setting, I gave up after a month of crazyness with the emails and posts and try this, try that, tray again ....

Follow the step by step guide or watch the videos posted and you will be up and running. Only you can get yourself up and running, go to the STB emulator section. It takes a little work a patience but you can get up and running 👍👍👍

pod77 --- While I totally agree with you, I have been up and down with this thing countless times and now they seem to have added a new dimension with network sections.

But if you go to the Papiao site and you get the following ... there really is not much you can do to get yourself back up and running.

The connection has timed out

The server at papiao.is is taking too long to respond.

The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

I must admit that I probably got better reception and signal when the thing was free, I probably got 1 month of it since then and will eventually see the sub run out, no amount of "It's on your end will convince me otherwise at this point" .... But as always I am open to suggestions and concrete answers, the typical vague stuff has long outlived it's viability.

I have read that the papio site is having issues at the moment so I wouldn't mess with it 😉 when it's back up again follow the STB directions and you will be up and running in no time. It took me 5 minutes to change over to the new port when the server was up and running again 👍

To answer the OP question, the donation checkers are currently being worked on, so that's why they are hard to access. I know I posted that in the announcement section before the 5th, and nothing has yet changed. They won't shut down the checkers completely, as that could cause widespread panic (but just remember... this is only tv). Please be patient, and only attempt to access the checkers if you are clueless about your assigned portal, or need to make a mandatory change or reset on your donation's linked MAC.

Hi Dara,

Thanks and as always there is something or other going on, I totally get it .... But being around this stuff for a while makes you sneeze a little.

:)

Anyways STB will not go beyond error so I will set that aside and see if I can go the old Kodi Route which I never really liked but what choice do I have?

Your going to need to login with your donation number to get what portal your assigned to now... So before you start pulling your hair out that's your first step 😉

Hiya pod77,

Yes that is fine I was already doing that for the STB so the portal should be the same, I am going to have to find the latest instruction on which addon's to install so I can at least try the stuff.

I have to check which Kodi I am on now, I think it is 16.1 but need to check.

Besides, is the order#/donation = user / pwd ?

Why is it that every day or sometimes even twice a day it is necessary to do an IPTV reset to get things working again?

This happens on the STB Emulator any version and a Mag 254.

Sometimes while watching a program, all of a sudden you get just a blank screen or it freezes solid forcing you to reboot followed by IPTV reset again.

Servers are not that expensive any more. Can't they play with a spare or two, get it right, then implement any new changes?

The problem is not my ISP or my equipment so please don't go there.

And while I think of it.................Why not tell everyone in ADVANCE what they will need to do for all of the different devices that use the service when all of these changes are being made.

Usually its a case of "I did this or that to get it to work" scattered all over multiple threads on this and other sites. MASS CONFUSION!

I know, "It's just TV" but there are allot of people that rely on Just TV to get thru the day for various reasons.

My friends and I have been customers of NFPS for many years now and we don't usually complain but this is really getting old.

Thanks for listening.

I have only once had to do a reset and that was this week when the new portal was assigned... So if your resetting daily you have something going on.....

@idenphones, unless you are using the same MAC on one donation on two different devices, you shouldn't have to do IPTV Resets that often. However, if you are using the MAG and the STB Emu, and using the same MAC, you definitely will have to do IPTV Resets.

The streams do expire after 2 hours, but all you normally would have to do is to refresh your connection to the server. That probably means cycling the MAG, but I think you can just do a 'reconnect' without having to cycle power. You normally would not have to do an IPTV Reset, as your device info hasn't changed.

To be 100% clear.

A total of 37 assorted MAGS and Android Boxes ALL with their own individual MAC addresses and Donation numbers. Some of the boxes are in Florida, Ohio, Ontario Canada, Alberta Canada.

No! I am NOT a reseller or anything like that. All of us purchased our IKS codes years ago and just progressed to IPTV as it was "More Reliable?"

We have something wrong? Give us a hint. We all seem to go down at about the same time plus or minus an hour and certainly mostly over night.

All boxes are shut down at night. Most of us do not play with anything as it should be set it and forget it.

And sometimes turn it on (boot it up) to Authorization Problem Try again in an hour or so it might work without changing anything. Sometimes not.

Open to suggestions!

My two boxes are running ( when they feel like it ) with all new everything. New MAC Donation Device ID and probably even the "Secret Handshake":D

I too have a similar problem. My MAG 254 will just freeze or go black. Sometimes the channels will go out but the movies continue to work. Sometimes I can reboot and everything returns to normal. Sometimes I have to just wait for a while. Sometimes it locks on whatever channel I am watching and will not change. Nothing consistent.

For the past few hours we have tried a few things.

Same channel on everything but different locations in North America and server addresses (1.2.3.4)dot iptv etc. with the following results.

1.iptv etc. needs a new stopwatch as it dies after just over an hour without changing channels on several different devices and most times will come to life by rebooting or changing channels.

2. iptv etc Works for about two hours but you usually need to jump thru hoops to get it restart or do an IPTV reset. That's the one I am on.

3. iptv etc. About the same as 1.iptv etc.

4. iptv etc. has been running for about 4 hours non stop Here in Florida but died after 3 hours in Ohio and 2 hours in Ontario Canada and about 1 hour in Alberta Canada.

We used a total of 15 Android boxes all running STB Emulator lastest version (not the beta) and 11 MAG 254's

All with their own MAC, Donation, login's passwords, sending ID's etc.

There is a routing problem from some of the locations back to the server as there are several hiccups from hop to hop. Dropped packets etc.

So.........................Next suggestion?

Looks like the stop watch got fixed!

Starting yesterday afternoon it was a two hour stream across the board. Plus or minus a minute or two.

Now if we can just convince the powers to be get some bandwidth maybe we can get this working properly.
