NFPS / Private Too Much buffering at peak times - Very poor Service

IPTV Private Server (NFPS)
what live ufc are you talking about? Macgraggor vs siver was in January 2015, there was no live fight yesterday or today. It was a replay of that fight. His biggest fight is Tomorrow and will be on PPV: UFC 194, like we had been waiting. Most likely on Channel 455 and 417 BT Sports 2.

You can compare my 2 last videos with your 2nd half, because I was at work and could not record the first 15 minutes of the 1st half, but there is not much to compare as yours did not buffer and when you watch my videos you will see a lot of buffering lol

told you I was a idiot when it comes to sport...why dont they write this stuff in the epg, so basically ufc fightnight are replays of old fights and new fights are only shown as ppv, oh well i'm getting more and more general sports knowledgeable.. hopefully.. thought it was a bit odd to fight with only 1 day recovery hahaha. it was a great fight though, i had not seen it, a good warmer upper for his biggest fight as you also say

sorry I had to spend time with my gf, she's like its Friday night blabla.. nah it is understandable.. now i'm just sneaking out in the early morning. lol

watched your vids, as you say that really takes the whole experience out of the game, I could imagine it happening when things get exciting, I feel for you :(

I tried speedtest.net as you where using and its finding a server as close to me as possible to test, so I cant really use it for measuring my speed across countries unless I missed something, I tried switching server but it only offers me servers nearby (4 servers in same country as me and its a very small country:)).
tried to move the pyramid thingy too but to no avail? i think its designed that way. never found a speed test that could do that, I searched for local speedtests in different countries instead to get a broader picture. (not something i did now) and i got anywhere from ~10Mbit to my "real" speed with some of the test servers i found.

I have Ethernet in the wall, going to your basement switch and from there fiber, so its pretty straight forward, I have a router of cause to separate my public ip from my local net. i have 3 public ip's i can use to setup a server(s) as long as it's not commercial, my speed supposed to be 100Mbit, which speedtest.net also shows, but it also chooses a server from the same isp as me as default, all of them is like a stone throw away. :/

you are right in there is not much to compare, it was more like if you wanted to see its possible. and for others to see that it is possible

Amazon FireTV stick + kodi 15.2 constant buffering every 1-2-3 seconds. My Internet connections is fine 60-80 mbps that's the actual bandwidth/speed that I'm getting when run speedtest.net, so no problem there at all. I did try all the possible solution by putting the FTV stick closer to the router, and modifying the Video settings to improve streaming like other people did here. NFPS, I want my money back!

generica keep it up they are working on it some say will have a fix soon and where the h did i every say that always said give it time they are working on it

@generic lol at least you have humor.
no we are not saying that, we are testing if there is a difference in location, as it is now.
seems like there is a bad routing point, and i am sure they are aware of this. there are things to be done to fix this..

relax i'm sure the day will come.

using speedtest.net chooses a server as close to you as possible, most likely located on the backbone of your country to get the fastest or best measurement as possible, it does not measure your speed to where the nfps server is located. it would be handy if there was a server to test speed on the same net as nfps servers. but unfourtunatly it would probably make things worse as it is right now, having users test their speed all the time.

I posted another threat related to the new boxes with H265 decoding and the amlogic S812 CPU which supposedly the new compression algorithm runs efficiently with only half the bandwidth. I am looking into it because I have the same problem and I have 16 mbts internet but usually only runs 12 or 13 mbts. a box with this new decoder should be a big improvement, it is all is said to be.

here is a proper test portal and some stats for belize:

this is to a provider over there, it also explains why speedtest.net and isp speedtest's cant really be used for a accurate measurement.
Code:
http://testmy.net/hoststats/belize_telemedia_lim
nfps does not seem to use a local provider so you cant use these numbers, they are done by local residents with and to that isp.
it does show how things are for them, they are upgrading their whole infrastructure, and have been at it for 2 years, as soon as things are in place nfps should have a much better connection point. if they choose to use it, or otherwise solve the problem, I have no idea, but I am sure that they do care and do as much as they possible can to better this.

anyway try test your net speed using this, and you can look at the database for some more real life results for isp's, countries, etc. you can choose some servers and stuff when you choose a test to perform.

for example if i choose a server in Dallas, which is far far away from me, i only get little over a quarter of my speed. Australia even worse for me.

So are you guys still saying it is at the user's end ? Ie .. your equipment sucks, your internet connection is worthless, your setup is hosed, you are using the wrong version of the software, the moon is yellow tonight, the earth is red and your money has no value... ???

Seriously it has been getting worse each and every day, today CNN looks like I had it on slow motion replay, History channel was horrible so basically I am going to simply throw them in the garbage and get a paid sub like the good old days ... LOL

It could be on your end as I just watched both for 5 min and not 1 freeze! So yes it could be on your end and as posted there are numerous things that can be causing it.....

exacty, " there are numerous things that can be causing it" edit: heck, i'm not going to clutter the thread repeating myself and you again lol.
@generic: have you tried a simple test, taking your box/donation to a friend/family to try a different isp/kind of uplink?

thanks generica, that is also what we experience in this thread, so you kinda know how much it can differ. i have setup 4 friends with no problems but as said my country is very small. unfortunately its not always fun to be the one who is having a good OMF god this is the coolest iptv experience I had; in here.. i guess its like that for minorities.. <whine> lol

btw. i'm pretty sure you cant install kodi on Roku devices.. :/

edit: of cause i emphasize with you guys that have problems, and i am interested in what is going on and therefore testing all i can from my side. but the problem seems to overwhelming to be able to pinpoint anything accurate, i do not envy the admins of nfps.

did the lucky user you had not have any particular difference compared to the others?
