c/p from the other site:

Hello.

We believe the future for our users is IPTV and we have invested heavily in both dollars and man hours to create a NEW IPTV SERVICE that is very close to being launched as a full service. Our recommendation to our users is to obtain an IPTV receiver as soon as possible. Our IPTV forums have a tremendous amount of information available on receivers in order to help you decide on which box is right for you. We understand that this is an investment into yet another receiver, however those who have spent years involved in this game fully understand that this is just how it is. Those who have a problem understanding that and accepting change probably should not be here anyway.

NFPS is going to help those users acquire their IPTV receivers by assuming part of the economic burden in the following manner.

All CURRENT ACTIVATED DONATIONS will be able to use the IPTV service AT NO EXTRA COST until the donation expires. All donations that are purchased prior to the free trial portal closing will be eligible and remain valid for the IPTV service.

For a period of 90 days following the end of the Free Trial (July 15th) and the shut down of that portal users will be able to renew or Purchase IPTV + Free IKS donations using the following price structure.

1 Donation $ 80.00

2 Donations $ 150.00

3 Donations $ 210.00

4 Donations $ 260.00

5 Donations $ 300.00

6 Donations $ 330.00

7 Donations $ 350.00

8 Donations $ 370.00

After the 90 day time-frame, due to increased costs in developing and maintaining the new IPTV service the prices for IPTV will change as per the following schedule:

1 Donation $ 105.00

2 Donations $ 190.00

3 Donations $ 270.00

4 Donations $ 340.00

5 Donations $ 400.00

6 Donations $ 450.00

7 Donations $ 490.00

8 Donations $ 520.00

During this 90 day period from the date the IPTV comes online we expect to finish the channel line-up and have the EPG fully incorporated. The channel line-up is to include the complete programming for Charlie including Fox Sportnet from several cities. In addition we will be adding some of Beverly channels like TSN and others. We are currently attempting to add some of the international channels from Charlie but we cannot guarantee those at this time.

Many of you are relatively new to NFPS and many have been with us for many years. Those that have been with us over the years understand that change is inevitable and we sincerely hope that NFPS with the new IPTV service will be able to provide all of you with your entertainment needs for many years to come.

********************Date of end of the Free trial is July 15th********************

Thank you for your patronage,

NFPS Staff.

I expect Rocket will do the same soon. Please don't ask me where you can get your donations... wait for the announcement!
tinieBlax,

Does two donations mean you can use two devices with activation code?

That wasn't the question. If they have donations 1 through 8 and each one is more than the first but the more you buy the cheaper per donation. The first one is $80 per donation. The 2nd breaks down to $75 per donation. So does that mean you will get n amount of codes to use for each box/device?

A donation allows access to a server for one device. In addition to the IPTV server, you will have access to various IKS servers as well. If you have two donations, that means that your two IPTV devices can connect with the IPTV server concurrently. Each donation gets you one code. I hope that clarifies things.

Will the final channel lineup be completed before the trial ends so we can evaluate the extra cost. Will there be and HD quality channels? Will you be able to record? local channels and NY channels? I know this is a lot of questions and I have been using IPTV from time to time but the quality of the picture is SD quality.
Thanks

Unless directly answered by the server operators, we probably won't know until the cutover date. Even then, you'll have 90 days of reviews from those who already have a valid donation before the big jump in price who will answer your questions. You could find someone that has the service to see for yourself as well.

ok so here is my conundrum. right now i am using duOS +stb emu and its running like a charm ive set the last 6 digits of the mac address to mimic my current mac to avoid any conflicts. Now if i go ahead and purchase 1 donation and link my current emulated MAC AND say in the future i decide to buy aVOV or mag will i be able to switch my account to said MAC or will i have to purchase another account.?

When you link your MAC, you can also change it.

Questions

I have a few questions.

First, I have been using the service and would like to know how to sign up before the July 15 deadline.

Next, I currently have 3 televisions in my home each with a Kodi front end on them. I have a backend that has 3x dual tuners in it so each television can watch and record at the s same time. Each has a tuner dedicated to it and the other 3 tuners are in a pool.

My question is do I have to purchase a "donation" for each front end or is the donation per home?

Since all the devices will be coming from the same IP address, the MAC could either be the IP of the backend or the router itself.

My final question revolves around the reseller program. I understand a minimal of 8 donations. My company will be rolling out installations and thus will want to include this service. The same question from above applies. If we have a customer who will have multiple Kodi front ends and one backend will one subscription be enough for the house since they will be coming from the same ip.

Thanks in advance.

This assumes that Kodi will work going forward.

If you are running 3 connections to the server concurrently, you need 3 'donations'. I don't think it's possible for the server to send multiple streams of AV data to one backend point to split them out to the front ends. It will think that multiple devices are using the same donation number and will kill the donation. The MAC's for non-dedicated STB's are arbitrary beyond the first 6 hex digits, so probably the best MAC to use would be that of the individual front end devices.

As far as reselling, its the same thing... one device per donation. You can use the donation on multiple devices with the same mac, but not concurrently.

I well also buy a donation if you can guarantee me that IPTV Stalker well work with Ivue Tv on Kodi!

It probably will. If you can hold off until July 15th, we'll know for sure. IPTV Stalker will have to be configured with validation data, and even though it has been tested with other servers, it hasn't yet been tested and verified by us regular users.
