yes i do
I have noticed that no channel will connect for around 10 minutes every day at 5:00PM EDT. Does anyone else experience this? Is there some sort of network operation on Rocket that occurs at that time?

Back in the days of satellite TV before internet providers were around, in the spring time depending where you lived the sun would get behind the satellite and the radio waves from the sun being more intense than the satellite signal would override and drown out the signal for periods of ten minutes or so until the sun passed by the satellite. If the channels that are being gathered by IPTV are comming from a particular satellite this might be a possible reason as to why this is happening. I am only guessing that this might be the cause.

you mean sun outage? sun outage happens twice a year and it lost only few minutes to couple of hours per day for 7 or 8 days. this is definitely not a sun outage. kof

Notice that today all channels went down for like ten minutes same time.

Sun outage could be the issue. If that is the issue then any day this should clear up. I have only noticed the same time every day blackout for about a week and a half. Now that all said, Personally I think the sun has already marched far enough north. For me at 41 degrees north, I see sun outages about 10 days before the equinox lasting until a couple days before. In the fall it is just the opposite as the sun marches south. We have no idea where the original reception of the signal comes from. But to be happening now it would be slightly north of 41 degrees.
