Rocket Server work taking place?!?

Would be nice if info out on what’s taking place as of maintenance or progress on the server

Channels not bad now but during prime time big problems..

Also the VOD unwatchable now ! and I must say VOD good 90% of the time !!!

Something must be wrong or failure on the data centre?!?
 
they do announce whatever they can and whenever is possible but unfortunately can not be shared and should not be shared. this how it was and thats how it will be. it would be be nice to know whats your setup, box, player, connection....etc. most of the time problems are on user end not really server end.:)
 
Live channels up and down and buffering at prime time

Note: when the live tv channels down the VOD flawless!!!!!!!
 
Just typical bad service. It's up - It's down - everyday - every week. Why don't they get it working and just leave it alone.

r u serious? do you think they break it on purpose and want to fix it because it was working and they broke it? before you blame server you better want to check your setup, devices, ISP...etc. hope you will do your homework next time :)

I always find it funny when someone posts how great their service is when everyone else's service isn't working. Then they blame the people that are having bad service.. :rolleyes: "Do my homework"? Do yours! In the nagra days we all knew when there was a ECM, we all went down, we all came back up when it was fixed. Now we have very little info on what's going on when it quits. It's it ECM's?, servers?, upgrades?, shut downs for laughs?, who knows. I do know it was working far better a while ago than it is now. Before you start telling everyone to that their setup is bad, devices are bad, ISP is bad, etc... you should check all the posts. Most of us know how to setup and use our devices and most have been "Testing" a long time.

Not Everybody can Afford the Price for that Speed...!

If you have a 25 mb/s service its plenty fast enough providing they have no bandwidth limits or restrictions. Best to search for an internet provider that provides an internet service with no bandwidth limits. The main providers charge if you go above their limits and could cause some issues if they throttle your service back or down when those limits are exceeded. Google search for .....Canadian Internet service provider list.
 
Basic 5Mb/s at my condo and 50Mb/s at my house. When the service is working properly, I don’t have issues at either location. Lately, unwatchable for the most part. I have faith it will be back. At least I’m not reprogramming Atmega128s every 24hrs.
