Yesterday I took my M8S to a friends house 60 miles away to show him the live tv and did not know that part of the security registered the local url to my residence. He had bought a M8S and wanted me to help him set his up. Of which I did except the live TV part. I could not show him this feature so he was not going to spend any money on. Rockets loss!! I know now that I need to reset the MAC after unplugging the device. It would give an ID mismatch also when I got it home I had to do this. For any of you who want to change locations for summer homes or sky lodges keep this in mind. The security is very tight for Kodi boxes.

The M8S is a box that uses android operating system and does not have the middle ware so therefore you need KODI or as wickedjoker said the emulator. I have not tried the emulator because I really like the guide that KODI has. There always seems to be tradeoffs. Question: Has anyone used the emulator and the live TV in KODI with the same mac.

yes the emu is very nice on that box...go to your apps and find the IPTV STB app (from google store) and install it

once you have done... run the app then edit your settings by clicking on "send ID" in profiles settings ,,,exit out then enter user/pass (donation) in the 2 fields..and once your mac is recognized and (you may need to reset iptv) it will load and connect

you will have same view as the kodi but easier to maintain...use kodi for other third party Live TV

Well I have just returned from 6 weeks in Spain, where I was using my M8S android box and an Amazon Firestick. I had no problems whatsoever, apart from the downtime that everyone experienced. I use Kodi 15.2 and Kodi 16, with the built in Stalker Client, not the special NFPS version.
No problems with connections, no need to change any settings. So I assume its down to the special version of Stalker Client?
I am no expert at IPTV, but I just tend to leave things as they are and when things go down, just wait and see.😂

Both the android box and the Firestick worked perfectly. Also it was fine on my Android tablet, when checked. I used either the firestick or android M8S box daily. The only problem had was when the server had problems. Both have Kodi installed. 15.2 on Firestick and 16 Jarvis on M8S box. Both use inbuilt Stalker Client, which were set up before the Feb 1st changes. So no problems with changing ip address or ISP. Just plugged them in, connected to wifi and they worked.
Good job too because only Spanish tv available in apartment!!
