IPTV66 Reset a MAC

This is the message that pops up at times when I try to reset my MAC.

There's an error, You cant reset this MAC
for one of the following reason:
1.- You can't reset a mac without status Running.
2.- You cant reset the same mac more than 3 times on a day.
3.- You can't made more than 15 reset 1 a day.

1 & 2 are understandable but #3 needs some explaining (at least for me). Is that 15 times per month?, per route?, per year?.
In my case I cannot change the MAC on my Mag254, so it has to be thrown away after 15 resets... is that it??

Can someone please explain... thank you.

lol... you would have to talk to NFPS about that :)
The NFPS server admins all do not speak english too well, it could have been a typo in translation :eek:

That would be in a day by te looks of it hopefully your not mac Crazy ! and are obsessed with your mac

I think this was from back when they required Order# plus Donation/Route# on the checker.

As I understand it you were able to reset any MAC 3 times a day (24hrs). (So you could keep changing MAC's).
BUT you could only do a total of 15 resets per 24hrs for each Donation?

No but I have had server problems lately with my MAC and it could cause a problem. The daily rate is shown in #2.

crazed 2.0.. thank you.. I did have it go out again on Sunday... you was awol (nascar) and asft stepped up and finally got it fixed yesterday afternoon. One comment, asft asked me to send a foto of my MAC but cannot attach in PM's... only link... so I uploaded it to a file server...fyi.

problem with that is if you reset mac 3 times and it maxes out then next time you search, it comes up with red error. So you can not even get in there to do them 15 resets.

I know, still confused, and me too. But after checking and adjusting over 100 in last 3 days I begin to see a pattern :)

OK I see, so you can have many routes on one donation.. is that correct ?? but still not very clear on the part of the server guys... that message popped up on Sunday when my MAC went to all zeros.... thank you.

yup, nascar took me out... Kenseth had it all the way too !!!
Damn high drift on last lap, last corner. I think he was trying to block hammy Hamlin !

No .. But you could have many routes on an Order. And you could assign any available MAC to a route.

example:- 1) Reset 2) Reset 3) Change MAC 4) Reset 5) Reset 6) Change MAC etc. etc. etc. 16) locked out!!!

Not sure if you would still be able to do this though?

Outside was coming toooooo fast would have wrecked and nearly did. Leader with one to go is never the best place to be!!!

i have come across a couple that were ready for assignment but the member did not realize the route was there , just waiting to be assigned, and a few times they did not know they had a reseller account type deal to start with.

My brain been on overtime and little sleep. I thought I was okay when the iptvPotal NA thing was fixed and PMs slowed down... but they never stop :)
Which is okay.
I can find stuff :)

15 resets and 3 MACs or 3 MACs and 15 resets or 2 MACs and hold the lettuce and 20 resets ?

it was the '1' that was confusing me. But as crazed mentioned earlier your SOL with the IPTV resets if you do the 3 MAC changes. Hopefully they will seperate the functions and not have them on the same counter.

I doubt I will use the function with the Mag, but when I started out I was using KODI, and there I used it quite a lot, setting up pvr stalker.

lmao ... I think it's actually a footlong (12 resets) and a quad decker (4 MAC's). :confused::cool:

The other day just looking at a Donation/Route/MAC counted as one without changing it or doing a reset!!!

to tell you the truth thou , most people (members) do so get it. They know not to add the rabbit food in PMs to me on these matters, and really that is how things get done. Facts only and all of them.

that gets things done :)
