NFPS / Private picture quality

why do the following channels show a picture as good as T5 and the rest of the channels are hard on the eyes??

I was going thru a lot of addon in kodi and I think a lot of the channels are coming from them and with them it's always hit and miss with quality and stability of the streams

I find that the picture quality on kodi/xbmc is better than that via the stb emulator app. Why is that? Is there some settings I can change via the app to get better picture

well kodi ones are sd and hd for the emulator ones are just sd that will change
