yes I do
Hey guys, not sure if it's just me but I just came back to my box and it's saying "Authentication Error" on screen. Tried a reboot and got the Authentication login screen. Entered my donation number in Login and Password slots and it said Error. :(

Is it just me having this issue or is there something else going on? Is this as a result of the maintenance? Should I do an IPTV reset on the papiao website if it isn't? Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

authentication error

here as well. Hopefully they will have it rectified soon.

Here's what you do.. Just unplug your stb for a minute, while you go online to donation checker webpage.. Hit reset iptv...webpage should go to green outline, and say reset successful.. Now, plug your box back in, enter your id and pw when auth dialog comes up, and you should be good to go.

This has been a great system.. I've had IKS, etc for years, but this is so much easier, and cleaner. TIP.. You have to stay on top of it.. Read the forum pretty regular. You can't just assume it's like cable, and walk away and forget it. It takes some upkeep.... but for the price and service, I think it's worth it..

Did this solution work for you just this minute? I think most of us are familiar with the reset. The reset actually solved some serious issues for me recently. I've seen on another forum that people are trying the reset and coming up with nothing. It seems like it's a rather widespread issue too. But if that solution JUST worked, I'd be willing to try it.

Did that not the yellow load bar loads to about 25% an stops

Guys if it's a known issue don't mess with your setup!! All your going to do is make it worse... Let them fix the issue, we are down and messing with things will only make it worse. Use a different source or just don't watch tv for a bit....as its been said over and over when there is a server issue leave your setup alone!!!!

If it reloads yellow bar only partially after reset, do a reload portal on your remote, and put your id and pw in again, and hit okay.. Should reload yellow bar completely now..

This is solid advice here. I'm just gonna wait it out, as indeed it seems widespread and server related.

I just rebooted my box, entered the Login info, as stated before it only loaded about 25%, then I went back to the inner portal by holding down the gear button, and chose to reload portal, then entered the login info again. It loaded fully this time and I've most channels I've checked seem to be working. I've noticed that CBS New York is back too.

Please note that I DID NOT do an IPTV reset on the website, just waited it out much like pod77 suggested. I did notice however that all my favourites etc were erased. A bit annoying, but, nothing to cry over, just took a few minutes to re-program them etc.

I wanna go out on a limb here and speculate that some maintenance related change happened server side, which probably hit all accounts, because it seems similar to what happens when you do an IPTV reset. I'm guessing this due to a few channels now being back. I've also noticed that the quality on HBO East has improved a lot, almost approaching HD and the same could be true for other channels too, didn't really check all.

So here's hoping we're good to go now guys! However I won't be 100% surprised or worried if this happens again, as changes are obviously taking place on the back end.
