NFPS / Private nord vpn..buzz 4900..

IPTV Private Server (NFPS)
could use a little help:

went to all apps and found nord vpn and did a quick login to los angeles so its the same country
hit home button and clicked on live tv which goes to my only server (nfps)
message came up that I had incorrect name or password
turned off nord and restarted buzz with no trouble connecting.
went to check papio reset page and internet provided not locked and country was usa

trying to figure out why nord is not working.

When you use a VPN, you normally are also using the DNS servers of the VPN. If those DNS servers can't resolve to the service you want to connect to, you could try connecting to a different VPN server that can resolve. It is hit and miss with Nord, and even if the settings do allow you to set up to use a different DNS server, I'm not sure if it actually works.

greetings
We all know that nordvpn is a very good vpn since it is one that unlocks geolocation for all platforms, and until recently it worked very well with the forum services but every time team papio makes its super improvements something different fails.
so if you bought nordvpn and you bought the forum service plus you bought a tv box now you have to buy another vpn if you want to use the forum service through a vpn jajajajajjajaja

One thing to try when using NordVPN... Like I wrote, it is hit and miss... but once you find a server that works, jot down the number of the server. You can reconnect to that particular server by putting in the number in the search. I don't know how that works if you are using an app on a box, but it works using the PC client. I have to check, but I am also using the public dns for google, 8.8.8.8

thanks for the help
nord is weird indeed. win 10 working great. win 11 will always quick connect to los angeles but foreign countries sometimes yes other times no.

was going to change nord dns settings but the screen on buzz tv doesn't show the settings button
not able to make screen size smaller so its probably there somewhere
will try ipvanish in a few days.

thanks for pointing me in the right direction though

I think dara is on the right track. If it were me here is what i would do . I would get a list of NordVPN servers and i would get a router that you can install a VPN on then i would go through their list of server trying each one if one works save that one and try and find 3 or 4 that work for you and save them to your router. That way if you have trouble with one you can connect to the other fairly fast.
