I posted my issues and problems with the MAG254, late last night and most of today, all the help I got was unplug the unit and plug it back in. how to change the settings, where to find the MAC number what server to use, how to reboot the unit, nothing has worked and still can't reboot. All of those things I am familiar with, and they don't resolve my problem. I tried to explain the issues to the best of my ability. All I know is that I was watching tv and the unit shut down, when I check my other unit the same thing happened. The wireless connection has a MAC number and the wired connection has another. One of them is the correct number and the other is not.

How do I get rid or delete the incorrect Mac number? any help will be appreciated. Units will not load, don't know what else to do.
 
when using wifi there will be a different mac
wifi will do that.
To test if that is the issue, can you use an Ethernet connection ?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe Amazon sells the powerline for Ethernet. I do not have a Mag 250 reading everything I can right now. Not suppose to use a power strip with them though or the signal will degrade.

I also tried the ethernet connection direct from the modem and the same problem, unit will is stuck in loading. when I press setup it takes me to the inner portal.
