Did a new install on MyGica 1800 adding kodi 17.6, using htt://githubusercontent.com/acidjesus/EPG/master/guide.xml also did a reset and reboot kodi but not getting information on my channel guide...not use to this kodi 17.6 yet so still playing but anyone have info on how to get information up on epg ....

Thanks for your help changed address, did a reset again and clear data as well as guide but no luck yet, was using the right address with kodi 16.1 and epg worked great just since changing to kodi 17.6 having trouble with info channels load up just no information....

It has data. I'm never certain what kick starts Kodi, but you might try clearing data again and then shutting down and restarting Kodi. Sometimes that turns the trick.

If you tweaked the URL you were using, make sure you adjusted from http... to https... and from .../acidjesus/... to .../acidjesuz/...

Thanks again did exactly that and presto loll it's working...But after about 30-45 minutes watching an HBO channel it kicked out and went back to main screen took about 20 minutes before it would let me back in any channels , back in now to HBO see what will happen...

If using PVR Stalker;
PVR Stalker is sometimes problematic when attempting to clear guide data in the Databases.
Here is the procedure to delete the 2 database files manually, so that when you restart Kodi, it has to generate new files, using the new data from the new guide URL source.

You need a good file manager/ explorer App. that you can Enable seeing Hidden files & folders.
I use ES File Explorer, from Google Playstore.

- Shutdown Kodi and use the File manager to go to the following Directory;

On Android-> Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/Database (see note)
Note* Android: Sometimes the exact path will differ from device to device. The Android userdata folder is usually
inside of "sdcard" so the path might be /sdcard/Android/data/org.xbmc.kodi/files/.kodi/userdata/Database

On WindowsPC -> C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\userdata\Database

Delete 2 files
- Epg11.db
- TV29.db

Exit the File manager and Restart Kodi
* You must have the new EPG URL address already saved in the Stalker Settings, before doing this.

For PVR IPTV Simple client or * PotatoTV Users
To change the guide source URL address;
- Go to System Settings/ Add-ons/ My Add-ons/ PVR Clients/ PVR IPTV Simple Client
- Click "Disable", then click "Configure"
- Click "EPG Settings" button
- Click in the "XMLTV URL" edit window
- Change the URL to the new URL, then click "OK" to save the settings
- "DO NOT ENABLE YET"
- Go to System Settings/ PVR&LiveTV/
Guide Tab - click "Clear Data" and confirm by clicking "Yes"
General Tab - click "Clear Data" and confirm by clicking "Yes"
- Go back to System Settings/ Add-ons/ My Add-ons/ PVR Clients/ PVR IPTV Simple Client
- Click "Enable"

Channels and Guide will reload
Note: This guide source is also available
hxxps://raw.githubusercontent.com/kens13/epg/master/guide_kens.xml
*(Change hxxps to https )
