I switched to a Kodi EPG using Schedules Direct. Yes, it's a subscription service ($20), but it has everything and you can add various countries. It is integrated with my ASTC channels, my Cable channels and IPTV Channels in one nice guide.
There are free EPG services which also work through Kodi, try using WebGrab+, set up your channels and feed the output (XMLTV) into your Kodi EPG. The learning curve on all of these is high. Took me a week of reading and learning, but eventually I managed to create an XMLTV output file which can feed 4 devices from an SMB drive.
Thats my solution for an EPG. Although ninja when it works is great.
