We can explain and explain till we are blue in the face
I don't know who told you the 'NEVER' thing, but that simply is not true.

Things won't be explained much longer.

I have seen claims about IPTV being immune to ECM's. From this faq http://ftabeta.com/showthread.php?t=73304 "This service will not be affected by ECMs or encryption updates / upgrades."

I agree that I have never seen any claim that the service will never go down, heck, nobody could make that kind of claim.

IPTV is immune from ECM's but it is not immune from IP changes the networks or providers perform, most if not all of these channels are from different providers or networks, and IP and Conditional Access Systems change to prevent leaks or people they do not want getting their stream. I had a pretty good channel list from an International provider that would change their IP address regularly but always kept it within the same IP Scheme, so it was just a matter of changing a digit or two. But now they've changed their IP scheme completely and I can't find it. I assume those operating the servers here are experiencing similar issues which is why some channels are down. Remember the IP in IPTV, it is much easier to change an IP address than it is to transmit an ECM. Free TV will always be a Cat and Mouse game. What Rocket and NFPS is providing and the channels that remain up are impressive and these guys should be commended for their work, it seems like they are trying to get every TV channel that exists on this planet streaming. I like the Chinese Porn channels they are so funny.

ever wonder why there is so much porn from China or Vietnam on the web ?

C/P
Five key operators of the cyberlocker site Ryushare.com have this week been jailed for spreading "depraved content". After making available masses of pornographic videos the popular file-hosting site is said to have illegally generated close to $7m in profits. Site founder Nguyen Duc Nhat was sentenced to 3.5 years behind bars.
end c/p

I think I read something like 800 000 porn movies and/or video clips were posted on-line by those 5 guys..... That's alot of porn
But they been stopped and arrested now, so no more excessive 'depraved content' we will see any more... haaaaa, lol

People expect to much ..... Jmo.. Nothing is a guarantee I pay for a regular sub from a cable provider and that even goes down from time to time. Heck even some channels go down at times. I see it as more as a hobby if you don't expect much then you won't be disappointed :)

How can people understand the words "In TESTING Mode"? If someone has any ideas, please post them here.

Ok, I will take a try.

Its like going for a test drive when looking for a new car. During the ride, you notice that 3 of the 4 power windows work most of the time, once and a while one headlight goes out, and the engine stalled a couple times.

When the salesman is asked about the issues his reply is :

Its a free test drive, you haven't paid anything yet.
The car is a demo, it was not intended to be ready for sale.
One headlight did work, 3 windows and the engine didn't stall that often, so more is working than not.

Oh yea, the salesman also told you the new model costs about a third more than last years model.

So sparky would you buy that car as is or say fix the problems and I will be intrested or walk away with no intrest in buying at all, well you can do that here also and as a famous English comedian says (forget his name) if you don't want the whelks don't muck em about.

You're making yourself look a bit stupid.

To use your analogy - you are not test driving a new car but testing a new car which currently isn't in production on the company test track. There are issues that need to be ironed out.

No one has said this service is finalised and will be like this when it's ready.

IPTV is a new and free service for now. The service itself is quite complicated (unlike IKS) and the fact that it is new should tell you that there are going to be bugs to be worked out = patience grasshopper!

I posted earlier about the stability. I know is on twsting, I just would like they start testing the stability... at least for a few days before testing something else. People will like that. Yes, I know if they make it stable for 2 or 3 days people will complain about HD channels or X Y channel... but I think we all would like to see some improvement on getting rid of freezing. Yes, I know someone also said that it depends on Internet speed. But it was noted at the beginning of the testing that a speed of 2mb would be enough. Again... not complaining here... I have the mag254 and since it's free all I have to do is wait. Just hoping soon they start working on that... I think they are focusing in adding channels instead of a stable way. I say this with respect to everybody... but I know lot people think the same way.
