So I'm gonna have to go to another thread. I learned the iptv stalker add-on doesn't work anymore.

I used to have no problems viewing with it. Worked well with the m3u server and the iptv simple client.

I have never been able to get the stalker client to work.
The epg.ninja stalker nfps client sorta works now.

I get the messages: Authorization failed, Retrying
,unable to load channels.
Failed to get stream URL.

Sometimes some channels load switching to another may or may not work. Then back to the channel that was just working gives me failed to get stream URL.

Like I said. It's hit or miss.

Frustrated. This all makes me feel so stupid.
I would've wanted to get others to subscribe but this is all too much hassle to recommend.

To be fair they announced 3 months ago the addon will not be working anymore. You can checkout Tech Timeruuu YouTube channel and it has step by step instructions. It's not really that much of a hassle you just have to read or watch some videos...also check here:

The hassle comes in where things have changed. Where was the announcement? What I'm saying is my 65.ur friend does not know about checking forums and the like. Before there was the pvr client the video add-on is what was used and while it's less troublesome for me it will be a hassle for him.

I'm saying where the hassle comes is when things changed and something else had to be setup.

I have followed a ton of guides. Still no success.Obviously there were problems with setup for some hence the reason for the epg.ninja Stalker nfps client with just a few fields to input. (Only then it worked for me 'somewhat')

Also I'm not blaming nods since I stated the streams load, then on switching, fails. So if it is working at one point then gives trouble right after there may be something different in my situation which is not considered.

It was announced in the Stalker Addon forum, where it should have been......

not at this time because these clients need Kodi 15.2 or newer version to work.
The T6 right now has the Kodi v14.2
There will be a new T6 file soon thou and that will have the Kodi newer version onboard.
In meantime thou, you can try setting up the stb emulator on that T6
I have heard reports that option will work.

I see you have been in the emulator forum area recently, looking into things.
I think if you forget that it is a T6 and just go by the instructions that can be found in that emulator sub forum., you might make progress.
I have not studied that forum much but must be something in there with instructions :)

I may just try it myself too with this T6 I have here.

That's what I am saying. My 65 year old friend doesn't know what a forum is. I was saying it would be a hassle for less tech savvy persons I would've planned to get signed up for the service.

Also it seems almost obvious that the 'failed to get stream URL' message is a network problem. When I get time I'm gonna try different dns servers and anything else I can think of.

From what I been reading the Mag 270 and 275 Hybrid boxes are made for use mostly in Europe for IPTV and not so much for use in the US.

There seems to be a problem with the MAG275 boxes. No one that I know of has been able to connect to the server with that STB since the username/password thing. I have no idea where the problem lies or how to remedy things.

I wrote the Papiao team about the MAG275 (I have a couple of them also, and they don't work now either). I did the whole update/reset/etc. stuff as well, before contacting them.

This was their reply, verbatim:

"Hi.

Sorry for the inconveniences at this moment MAG275 boxes are not supported, you need to use an emulator.

To receive the corresponding assistance with the following points please visit our forum

Configuration instructions.

Technical Support.

Compatibility Inquiries.


Best regards,

Papiao.TV Staff."
