fact is that this message does come up in error a few times.
Meaning it may even appear upon the first time searching a code.
other reasons are because a mistake ws made with the MAC and need to re-enter to fix.
So that is twice. But then it does not work so you think well maybe a IPTV Reset, so back in again and that is 3 times. Lets hope a 4th time is not needed, but there are cases where it is. Not all are User error.
Sometimes the MAC comes up and already excists and so we go back in and try and link it to a false MAc and exit, then back in and reset and then back in and link to correct MAC and ummm, how many times was that ?
Or the new member misunderstands what is the correct route or code to enter and mistakenly enters the order number or even a wrong code number, that is one try and if they did not see their mistake then that could lead to multiple tries and then, they get locked out.
I have heard from a few members that even on their first attempt they get the locked out message and to wait 24 hours to try again.
The wait 24 to 48 hours is a different message. That one means it can not at the present time find on their system, the code entered, which could mean the code has not been entered into the system yet or the code entered was wrong.
ANyway, getting locked out is frustrating.
I have asked that this be revised in the system and server techs are looking into it.
