Someone made the statement that leaned to the reason that the service was not stable was because of the internet on iptv.

Cable systems get most of their services off the internet.

This service doesn't get there service the same way actual cable TV does. So that's why you see the channels go up and down. If you need a certain channel you cannot live without then you should look for a backup source as well. All the channels go up and down and some more than others, it's been that way sense it started.

That might be the case with actual cable TV services.
 
Maintenance..really?

Seems to me with all this so-called maintenance that's been going on Above & Beyond at 36 hours. That would be seeing some kind of improvement . however some channels have even gotten worse such as H2... other channels are still looping. So what kind of maintenance shuts down channels only for the same thing to happen over and over again. What did you do for maintenance just reset the servers? Because to be honest I have not scene any Improvement whatsoever the Syfy channel doesn't even have any sound. Are you guys even checking the channels that you're supposedly working on? The NFL channel isn't working at all. All I get is a funny looking screen that says no signal. Great job guys..

Was there an announcement I missed that said they are done with the maintenance? You do realize this is a support site right? The mods have zero control on "checking the channels" ... If you want the answer you just asked email Papio directly and ask them what they are doing because they are the only ones who can tell you! Does Complaining when it hasn't even been announced that they are done yet do accomplish anything?

Saunter over to the announcements section and you will see that there is a new post stating they will be crediting users with an additional week of service. The last time they did a big 'Maintenance' a similar thing happened and a credit was also given. In other words, MAINTENANCE AIN'T DONE YET!

A good rule of thumb when you see an 'estimate' of how long something will take to complete...double it. It it's still not working after that, triple it. By then (hopefully) it should be working.

Interesting points Pod. You said support.... For what exactly? ... Define it! If it's a shoulder to cry on when there's no service then keep it... Not intrested. However, if the "support" they provide is backed/endorsed by the service that covers setup/configurations, reports of maintenance, channel issues, down channels, feature requests etc.. Then what your suggesting sounds absurd. Where do they get there info from... Thin air? How can you provide support and you don't even know how it really works? I know your probably trying to help... But really how stupid do you believe some of us are... If we actually believe the mods are kept out of the loop. I see it as an accountability issue at best, so the mods do exactly what they are told. Everyone try's to act like papio is some mystical, magical being of sorts and us peasants must go through various channels of BS in order to get answers... I don't think so!
 
Enough. If you don't like what you get here, feel free to look elsewhere. Staff on this site gets limited information about the actual server operation for security reasons, and that's all you need to know.

Lol... Thx need that. Ethical pirates always amuses me. And to think I was reprimanded for cursing and threatened to be removed from the site... As if that's the worst thing being accomplished on this site. The pure existence of this site propagates immorality ... Now you want me to be angelic?!? Whatever... Argh Just don't touch me rum ;)
