The regional Sports channels especially do have a very low data rate. They look OK on a still picture, but sports are fast moving and need a much higher data rate.
Since I was not getting an straight answered, I try on my own. shut off receiver, on the way back, when I put it on, it ask for update the app. or program and I allow, after that it ask for user and password and I got my us channels back with good quality too.
Unfortunately you won't get an answer... It will be fixed when it's fixed.. You can email papio till your blue in the face and it's not going to help... Look for a backup to use as well
