Slow motion - unwatchable on all American movies channels/plus more US Channels?

I haven't watched anything in a few days as been away but since I have tried it today and yesterday almost all the american channels, tried all the american movies channels and definitely all of these apply to this. But basically it is like its in slow motion, if that makes sense. It is completely unwatchable, never seen anything like it since had the service but its ridiculous this is on so many channels and this bad! Can anyone let me know if anyone else is having this problem and if this is a known problem? Thanks

Also just noticed that a lot of channels are out of sync, video is fine but audio is delayed. Noticed this of quite a few british movies channels so far, never seen so many issues before on so many channels!
