can anyone explain why we get freezing on uk channels at this same time every day about 3.50pm and it lasts untill after 6pm i have not been able to watch the last 10 min of death in paradise in yhe last 2 days

It could be you local ISP. If you are on a cable internet system, you are sharing a common line back to the provider, so in high demand times, people tend to get less bandwidth.
