I have similar freezing-buffering problems. Running Kodi 15.0 on either Linux (Lubuntu/Cinnammon) or Windows 8.1 on a Yoga 2 Pro (i7), with a wifi service that provides ~50 mb/s. I tried to set 0 cache, following a you tube tutorial, but it did not help, and might have made things a bit worse. Channels that used to run just fine (BBC world news, for instance), are now freezing and cannot be viewed.
Is it me? Is there a setting I need to modify? Where is the hardware acceleration setting?
Thanks,

I'm not sure there's anything u can do. Actually my freezing issues started again. At this point I can only assume something is going on with the server. Maybe not all of us receive the streams from the same place, dunno. The fact is that A LOT of channels keep buffering and a lot are not even working... Nat Geo, Animal Planet and many others. My experience was much better when the streams were free honestly. I hope it's only a matter of time and things will get sorted out. Those not having problems, what set up are u using?

venik212 u can enable\disable hardware acceleration in kodi playback settings.

The Science Channel freezing. It freezes regularly for a few seconds up to 10 seconds at a time. Mostly short freezes. This was occurring last Wednesday evening as well. Have not yet watched while it did not freeze. Did not notice any other channels freezing. Also did not have a Guide for three days until today when the Guide returned. Guide out of sync by one hour for British Channels.

Those who say they are not experiencing freezes, what channels are u watching really?? Almost ALL the channels I watch are unwatchable, including most of the music channels, the documentaries channels like discovery, nat geo, dmax, investigation, most of the british channels, fox sports and most of the entertainment channels. This is really BAD, especially after submitting a donation. And no official communication whatsoever on whats going on. I though the fine "tuning", if thats the problem, was supposed to be done during the free open period.....
To me it just seems theres not enough bandwith to serve all the users....
