Rocket Major buffering tonight

Help for Rocket IPTV Server.
I had buffering on lot of channels that did work and I see lot of channels not loading
at all... I have 30 days left on my membership and I have 8 family members also I
got to sign up who will NOT be renewing...

This is my first venture into iptv, made sure i bought good android boxes both with 2 gig ram , one with 905 and the other with 812 processor, even went and edited my cache buffering etc. i get anywhere from 15 to 20 bips download but i did not realize how bad it gets with this service,,, i have and still use iks which is night and day (when its up) to iptv..... Went and added iptv because i think iks may die,,, to bad if it does because this service needs major work for live tv

This forum has been a great wealth of knowledge and has been much appreciated

Tks to all who have helped in making it interesting

One more thing,,, would trying to set up an emulator work better ( don't know much how to do it and what there about) or is it really just a server issue in times when there is too much traffic

Unwatchable on ch 300 and 318 tonight',,, anyone else
.....The more boxes logging on to servers, the more buffering will happen. If the servers become overloaded, they simply stop, freeze or shut down and your screen goes dark. More boxes, need more servers and that's the way it works. The servers can only serve so much and then it starts to serve while you wait until somebody else's box is served. The higher the definition, the bigger the problem and that's really going to bring buffering to the forefront with UHD and 4K as those servers or most of them haven't even showed up yet. Getting 1080P is hard to get without buffering.
To minimize buffering, get the fastest internet service you can get with unlimited bandwidth or you'll go broke paying for it.

well just decided to run kodi with laptop to tv and see if 8 gig ram helps,,, but yes I do understand the limitations with the servers and overloading on peak times especially

was really hoping the bigger name servers here had a better handle on iptv since its growing more now with the down times with iks

anyone know if there are any benefits to an emulator through an android, ie more stable or not

I have never experienced anything that emulates something else to work better although there could be a first, its not likely as it takes more to get it to emulate the original software. If you consider your modem connects to a server which connects to other servers and nobody knows the type, limits or speed of those servers and how many devices are connected to each one of those servers, it really brings answers to initiate more questions which will vary with the time, the number of decices and the number of servers they connect to as well as the speed of those servers and the internet providers they are connected to. Its a crap game with unlimited odds.

Mine in the 300's was freezing like crazy .the weekend is the worst. Seems everyone watches game of thrones HBO was unwatchable.

I watch Game of Thrones via Genisis on PC, Windows as well as various android boxes including Nvidia Shield Tv which comes with Kodi pre-installed. Easy, fast, clear.

well I hooked up my laptop with 8 gig ram 2 dedicated video and again same as the other 2 androids,,, some channels with rocket are good and some are not so sounds like server overload especially at peek times

For those who would like to reduce their chances of freezing by tweaking their own hardware, I would advise you start with a 25mb or faster internet service. Try and get a Docis 3.0 modem or gateway as it just works better with the faster speeds. If you have an old router, consider a newer version with two or even three bands like the higher end Asus models although I recommend upgrading it with Asus-Merlin firmware rather than the firmware that Asus provides but understand it will void your warranty. The next part is really important as it relates directly to your android box. Log on to your router, go to QOS or quality of service and make sure your android box is connected to your network so it will show up as one of the devices. Now give it the highest priority in the quality of service, save and log out. This will help with freezing, buffering and connection issues. If you have any gamers in the house, please note, they do have a big affect on your internet as Nvidia, Steam and other online gaming servers employ boosters which really affect what you get and it usually comes in the way of whatever is left over. Tweaking your box by providing it with more memory and dedicating 2048 or 4096 mbs will pretty much eliminate your buffering issues on your end. Kodi - Tvaddons has some software that allows you to configure how much memory it gets, what mode and it works but you have to edit the software, save it and exit out. Your modem, router and quality of service is the best way to limit freezing issues.

And Don't run wireless..but that should not be a problem,The server works or not,?It's working good as of today.Doesn't matter what modem or router or ip provider you have, let alone the speed(5mbs down is more then enough)
Thanks for your post though it's probally for the peeps that dont have stb's

I'm running both android boxes on 5gz wireless, two different providers and freezing is almost non existent. It happens but on an infrequent and occasional basis and the CSA93Q box has two Stalker Pro emulators running one or the other with guides. One for charlie and internationals, one for English, Irish, Canuck and foreign international channels. Kodi 17 Rc3 is also working well on both androids on wireless without freezing issues.
