Just what we need, buy another box.

I have to say on this thread it's very hard not to respond the way I would like, so I'll simply ask one more time. We should have RECORD!

I agree with JJ and would not mind having recording capabilities as well since we were so used to it back in the stone ages (with IKS) but the Mag254 goes back to non streaming mode as soon as you switch the output to something else (the source on your tv for example) so I am not sure if having recording would actually work unless one is watching the channel as well which will defeat the purpose.

We're on a forum that's here to help people and your telling me and everyone that you don't want to be good enough to help anyone. Now I know why I have more power points than you Sat-junkie or you High247. I've probably been doing sat and iptv years before you even heard of this stuff.

JJ it would be real hard to tell that you have been doing this so long because of all the questions and the type of questions. Looks like sat-junkie is trying to help.

Hi Tizer

In the UK is it legal to watch the Videoclub movies, including the ones not yet shown in theaters?

Why are you guys so opposed to recording? What real reason do you have?

Legally you can stream ie no saving on drive. Downloading any file for over 24 hours in my country is illegal. So I only streamm and break no laws here.

Yes its ok to Watch pirate content privately and use Temporary Caching while streaming but the ability to record would make it illegal.

Code:

Giving mag box Record in my view would enable people who didn't know the law to do something they shouldn't best it just wasn't available.
Easier to fight your end if any busy bodys come knocking over watching Iptv. With example cases already been through EU/UK court.

yep you would have to watch the stuff while recording.. or turn the head the other way.
just like the first smart tv's with recording capability but only one tuner.. I own one of them and the function is yeah pretty much useless.

it gets around the sharing issue by formatting the drive with a strange propriety filesystem, but of cause this can be circumvented to.
