Bkman2020, I agree with you. Personally, I'm much too busy to watch TV all day. However, I'm a reseller so I have customers who've chosen to purchase donations. When the donations they've purchased don't work, they make my life miserable. Hence, I come here to get information, whine, ask questions and generally commune with other users of the service. Do you suggest I should tell my customers to not rely on a service they've purchased, or do you suggest I shouldn't be a reseller?

Maybe your opinion differs, but I'm of the opinion that when you purchase something, you should receive it. If there are going to be outages, customers need to be informed and compensated. No one expects perfection but everyone does (and should) expect communication.

By the way, everyone - I mean EVERYONE - in my neck of the woods loves this service -- when it works. I would have no problem selling hundreds upon hundreds more subscriptions. Buuuuuuuuuttt... I'm a bit gun-shy at this point because I've lost money and business trying to keep my current customers up and running. I have a stellar reputation as a technician and I have no desire to taint my reputation.

I think when the kinks are all sorted out, this type of service is going to be the way everyone watches live TV. I just think the devs can (and should) be a lot more communicative in supporting the resellers who are putting loot in their coffers, and helping this service become mainstream.

looking good today with epg

I'm also doing great on 7 boxes. Each has survived multiple reboots. I have 4 customer boxes working with the sha256 Device ID calculation, and 3 working without. However, I'm going to put the calculated device ID on every box I touch because I'm hoping it will future-proof the config.

I was having a problem getting the epg to work. Once I installed the epg updater repo and addon (http://epg.ninja/clairvoyance/), the guide loads without issue.

I am sorry my intentions were not understood. My intent was to help improve the functioning of the site. I am extremely grateful to all who post on the site, the mods most of all. I also realize that the statements I made are my own personal opinion and should be viewed as such. If I have offended anyone I apologize.
 
I was passionate in complaining, so I just wanted to stop by and be passionate in thanking the Dev's for getting the problems sorted out. Everything is working perfectly! Please guys, don't change a thing!

My customers are all happy again. When my customers are happy, I'm happy! :cool:
