NFPS / Private IPTV down

IPTV Private Server (NFPS)
I have been tying to reset on papiao for 2 day and get wrong info entered is the papiao web site down too? Jesus whats going on
I have 2 individual firesticks both confg with diff donations yesterday 1 worked the other not, when are they going to leave things to hell alone

Some channels work in Kodi NFPS, eg. NBA, but others are giving either a 504 or Authorization failed message which is strange in itself.

I can't even log into Papiao - username/pwd combination invalid and when I request a reset I don't get an email...

Ok once again (kodi users): Go to System, live tv and disable Live TV. Click Clear data after that. Then, go to Addons, My addons, PVR Clients, Configuration, Portal 1. Here you will check that the Mac is correct, server address is ok, check that Login and Pass are filled with the donation number, Serial number is filled with a 12 number plus 1 letter combination (13 character) and theeeeen, you take the Mac, serial number and donation, and copy/paste them into a SHA256 online conversion page (GOogle it!). Insert it on the space provided and hit the conversion button. The result will be a very large code that will be your new Device ID. Device ID2 and signature can be left blank. But don't click OK yet!! go to Papiao site, fill in your info (Order#, Donation #, Capcha) and you will reset your iptv. After you do the reset, you can go back on Kodi and click OK. Then, go back to Live TV and enable it. Andddddd .................... TRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR! Wa lá! TV again. Pretty easy...

Okay I've just tried the above and I'm getting 'Authentication Failed' 'Unable to load channels'. I'm using Kodi on the firestick, PVR STALKER 0.8.4. Did I need to do this or should I reenter my original setting from earlier when Kodi was working?

Read the announcements, and the rest of the recent postings on the site, and you'll get a great idea of what to do...it probably has nothing to do with what you set up for now.

As luck would have it we lost power at the house for a few minutes today. When my Mag254 re booted I now get the infamous blue bar. Joy, Joy. As many have already said until they get this fix in don't intentionally do a re boot or you will most likely go from bad service to no service. The saga continues.

As the moment I post the steps to follow, everything was working well. Now it seems to be something else, just be patient people... Remember, freebies are mad bcause they can't watch tv anymore, theyre firing up jejej

So just out of interest where did that information come from about using SHA256 and entering your details to create a new device ID, was that genuine from the provider or elsewhere?

It was in an announcement posted by Tinieblax, see the posting up there from him. Anyway, it really doesn't do anything but make your installation more unique to the server. A compliant client will send a login and password to verify that you are a valid user that is attached to the MAC you sent, and then takes that Device ID information to prevent other devices from connecting from a different client.

yeah, nfps said himself he made up the hash thing (and definitely wants people to use it still, as it generates a truly unique id) but in reality any number will do for device id.. you should do what he asked tho, he was clear on that.

Cheers for that.

Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnope! No Joy. No Love. Still getting "Authentication Failed" on a shiny new installation with calculated Device ID. Nothing works. Thousands spent. My customers are talking yang to me, each other, and to potential new customers.

At the very least, the Devs should be kind enough to use communication as pseudo-Vaseline... Right now, all I can do is quivver in a corner and say "OUCH!"

I'm sorry asesinopr but your "jejej" does nothing to make me feel better. I could give a "You-know-what" about Freeloaders. They are not my concern. My money and my clients are. People who purchased donations did so in good faith. We haven't received this service consistently for over two weeks and no one is telling us what's going on and/or how long it's going to be before it's fixed. I don't mind waiting and I'm sure other people don't mind as well. But no one's giving us any idea of how long that wait is going to be.

I'm a tech so I understand how things can go wrong. But there's no excuse for this lack of communication.
