yes i do
any word on the progress of an app for ios devices or iphone and ipad ?

I see there are various iptv apps in the applestore, won't any of those work ?

Forever TV, Xtream iptv, etc....

they just need a url with port number, login name and password..

just curious....

If the app is asking for a port then that app will not work.
It is either an FTA app or a app that must first be supported by a service/server.
Kinda like our Kokaleka TV app only works thru nfps/Rocket /iptv66 service.

ok, now looking at the kolaleka TV app and the subscription service, is it possible to get
a subscription that allows you to use on more than one device with your service without
getting banned ?

thanks..

you can use as many devices as you want, but never at the same time.
One only can be connected to the service thru one code at one time.

I do not think the system will even allow a second active connection thru one code, but I would not test that

Ok, I figured as much but just wanted to be sure....

So, how long before an App is available for the IOS (iphone, Ipad) platform ?

The subscription site saids that an App is coming...

thanks...

I do not know.

I always thought that the kolaleka TV app did work on iPhone ?

You can get the (our) authentic Kolaleka TV app at googlestore, for a direct download.

No, IOS is a completely different animal or platform....

Going back to an earlier reply, what is a FTA app ?

I'm trying to sort out what IOS apps would be compatible with your iptv service
and what the requirements are.... assumming there is one already available....

thanks...

FTA is Free To Air satellite channels converted into an app.
But that is nothing to worry about and is probably not relevant at all.

The port they are referring to can be to gain access to their server, and then that would gain access to their app functionalities.
Weather that app can connect to other servers is something I could not know thou :(

This wuld be same as how Roku works. They have ports for their clients, but sometimes they also leave ports open and h=if you know what port that is then you gain access and can program a roku box to gain access to 3rd party servers... but roku shuts that down as soon as it happens.

That may explain what a port is :)

ok, I got that....

next question, does the iptv service here support json, m3u, epg, or xtreme codes ?

is an m3u list or site link available for download or linking to via url ?

would the m3u list be updated everyday meaning the I would have to keep downloading
an updated list ?

that would work for now till an app is available....

thanks..

m3u supported, yes

xtream_codes was supported but that platform may not be available any longer.

You can use a hard-copy of the M3U Playlist or you can use the URL for the Playlist.
Using the hard-copy would not get you any updates. You would have to either edit your list and add any new additions, or get a fresh copy of the list.
Using the URL would get you real time updates as they happen.

Directions for iptv66 Playlist or Rocket and NFPS have their own posted in each of their sub-forums.
http://iptvtalk.net/showthread.php?27375-How-to-get-an-IPTV66-Playlist

This C/P is how to get a hard-copy. The address mentioned in this C/P is the URL of that hard-copy. That URL would be the one to use if not using the hard-copy.
As an example for this tutorial we will look for an M3U Playlist.
Scroll down thru that list shown, and choose Generic M3U
Now you will see an http address appear there just below where your MAC had once been
Either click the address or copy that address and paste it into your Browsers address bar OR you can highlight the complete address and left click on it and choose .... Open in New Tab.
Next you will see a hotlink appear, choose Save.
That Playlist file will now be saved on your PC somewhere, prolly in your Downloads folder or wherever your downloads end up at
end C/P

EPG URLs from created by a couple of site members here
Code:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/acidjesuz/epg/master/guide.xml
Code:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kens13/epg/master/guide_ks.xml

This EPG URL is for ken's iptvxtra method
Code:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/kens13/EPG/master/guide_iptvxtra.xml

The server also has an EPG URL if wanted.

And also, you can see the port number in each channel line when an m3u list is opened thru a desktop text editor.
that may be the port some of those other apps may want.
Port 80 , I think it shows.
But don't take my word on that if that is correct port they are asking for. Seems to me thou, is that they are asking for the port for their server .. I don't know

ok, the xtreme codes support is what I asked about initially - the one asking for a port number.... that would be perfect...

otherwise I can use the m3u url link or epg url.... perfect... any of these could work for now but I would prefer

the url and port for the xtreme codes, is that listed in the subscription info ?

thanks....

I edited my last post just after I posted it. Look at the very bottom of that last post of mine.

I haven't had a subscription since 2016 or so which is one reason for all or most the questions and I noticed
the new site url at the subscription site.... (.net) instead of (.org) and a lot has changed I see...

thanks...

GSE iptv works. Never really spent too much time using it, but it does work if you're looking for something to use.

Yes, that's one of the iptv apps I downloaded to try to use and it looked promising....

I know the m3u, and playlist would work but I haven't created/edited playlist in a while

and was looking to use the xtreme codes section....

any idea what the port number is for the iptv66 server ?

port 80 was already recommend so I could try that and the other defaults....

thanks...
