Well dang, no wonder. Dara, thank you for catching this. I was flummoxed by the lack of the General tab.
I got it working after increasing the "connection_timeout" value. At first glance I am extremely impressed with the channels and the guide. Thank you again. No problem. PVR Stalker 0.82 is preinstalled into the Kodi 15.0 RC. You may have to manually modify the maximum timeout in order to connect, I think that's discussed in this thread and elsewhere as well.
Good to know. I can attest to the confusing aspect. You don't have to disable the IPTV Stalker, but yes having more than 1 PVR clients will make it confusing.
Does anyone know how to extend the timeout on Android ? Thankswhere i can file this file on android?
Does anyone know how to extend the timeout on Android ? Thanks
You go to the main settings page in System, Live Tv, and Enable to on. On the main screen, if the channels have loaded, you should see TV. Look for a video in this tutorial forum.
Ok, I had been running Stalker Client on my Kodiak 15 beta 1 using 1.iptvprivateserver.tv and epg http://is.gd/NFPSF with no issues but now I keep getting an "unable to load channels". I have tried resetting PVR DB in kodi TV settings and even changed MAC ID thinking that might be the root cause. Funny thing is I can get Live TV working using PVR Simple Client. Anyone know what happened that Stalker Client v 0.8.0 is no longer working?
In my Nexus 7 tablet found the settings.xml file in:Does anyone know how to extend the timeout on Android ? Thanks
I got it working after I increased the timeout to 75. You will need to edit the xml file.
My interests are only in the cable news channels. I've noticed Fox News is the only stream that registers as 720. CNN and MSNBC are shown as SD. Fox stutters where as I have not seen the others stutter. It does not happen way late at night. I am looking forward to feed back from viewers after the 15th. If the reports say the stuttering has been resolved I intend to sign up also.My wife loves to watch DIY Network, but it buffers a lot.
I tried 0 cache, some other advanced settings xmls, but still the same.
My internet speed is pretty good, using 50mbps up and down. Download speed is up to 7-8 megabytes per sec.
Just paid for the donation and set up, still the same.
Hopefully the server gets faster after July 15...
