How to install iVue EPG add-on for IPTV Stalker

I have version 1.0.15 on one box and 1.0.13 on another.

Thanks, I had already done as listed in that thread; was hoping to get a better working setup going... With all of these updates it seems like one step forward, two steps back on my system. I'd prefer not to have to make changes and tweaks every odd day as I don't care to watch live television with commercials anyway - news channels being an exception. Movie channels are fine and everything else I get from PFTV.

i woukldnt say its outdated post either i personally dont like the live tv option in kodi as i find is generated issues with epg grab etc. so i for one will keep using Ivue and keep this thread alive if you dont mind.

i am also redoing all channels from scratch but when theres 500 odd its a mammoth task

First, I believe psycon was referring that his post was outdated, not the thread supporting the ivue tv guide efforts with IPTV stalker. In my opinion, any effort to get a good epg going with the NFPS service is all good, whether through the PVR or a "TVGuide" solution.

As to your question expatter, you can have the ivue TV Guide working with the 1.0.7 or 1.0.8, while running the PVR Simple client using a newer version of IPTV Stalker. All it requires is an internal rename of the newer version of add-on to something that is not "plugin.video.stalker" in the addon.xml, and then renaming the folder containing the code to that new name, then putting that folder into a zip archive to be installed. Don't ask about that here, as that would be a thread hijack. Hopefully both PVR and Ivue will be able to work on the same IPTV Stalker version, so we can move forward with the great changes there.

It may only be a temporary solution, as there's indication that NFPS will be going pay soon, and the older versions will probably not work. You may want to coordinate with pocpoc, who is on this site, and is the author of the IPTV Stalker.

I personally love the iVue EPG, as its color full and most importantly channels are linked in it so I could just launch any channel(Well the ones with proper stream assigned for now at least) from it, regular Live TV EPG is a hassle, as you have to open EPG then go back to Channels to watch a specific channel, Props to the iVu Team and I hope they correct the names of more channels so we have all the channels in the iVU app. anyways to improve that our selves?

again good job to the person/team that is making this possible with stalker list, however it needs to be updated as for instance iVu still shows the deleted channels EPG (ex. TSN 1-5 no longer exists but iVu still has it in the list). tnx

can anybody please explain how to get the epg in kodi as there are so many different ways and so many different links of what to put in where ..
its too confusing for simple non tech people.
i do have live tv working now with kodi and logos but not able to figure out EPG
is the epg in kodi tv section or in kodi stalker video addon section
do we or dont we need ivue...
how about a step by step video ..

followed this "https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tzepJ1QabXo" but my problem is in the settings i only have "source/apperance /startup/notifications/ when i try to click on the right
arrow it doesnt move....version 6.0.19 is installed ..
i uninstalled it and re installed it same thing..cant click on right arrow
i keep getting message "none type object has no attributes"

What is the last IPTV version this works with ?

iVue is way better than the PVR simple TV EPG

I keep getting POP UP message "IPTV STALKER none type object is unscritptable"

I have it working on 1.0.7 which I downloaded via the MetalKettle repo ( or get it via TotalInstaller).

I don't think it works on the newer versions.

works on 1.0.7 which I downloaded via the MetalKettle repo always worked that way for me just few channel were off will try it again today to see if they fixed that which if you follow the last video think they did

I too get this error. I don't think it's compatible with anything higher than 1.0.11... Anyone know if developers are going to fix together?

i can confirm after testing that version 1.0.18 is working within the guide just fine BUT......... i will need to redo all the channel linkage so it will not be ready for a few days yet

I still can't get it to work with the newest versions of IPTV Stalker. It works fine with the 1.0.5 in the iVue repository (which does get updated to 1.0.7 because of the MetalKettle repo), and it works with 1.0.7 fine as well.

no you wont dara as it breaks the addons file within the guide i need to remake it but after getting it all working for 1.0.5 1.0.7 im deflated :) i will do it this week though
